This mod does not add any tech trees so this mod does not restrict anything. What blocks are available depend on the tech tree mod you install, and mine is generally out of date, so don't use that one.

You need to make it so players can create solar panels without research, because players can't start on the moon with this mod.

What tech tree are you using because mine has not been updated in years and likely won't be. If you are using a custom one, please link it.

Now we've researched the beacon, and it's failing because of the blast door, even though the ship doesn't have one. Also, you don't always see your projection, but others do. You can't position the projection correctly. It would be nice to get some feedback from the authors about whether anything is still happening with this mod. Otherwise, I might delete the mod from my server or even start a new one entirely.

We also discovered that when you load a draft into the projector, an error message appears stating that it couldn't be loaded because the beacon research is missing. The beacon isn't researched, but the ship doesn't have a beacon installed either.

Please fix these issues. Our community server concept no longer works. Atmo engines are not unlocked in T2. ​​Some wheels are not unlocked in T1.

For players like me who may have found this recently, and are searching for answers:
One of the recent SE updates broke this mod in a couple of subtle ways. You can't unlock Hydrogen Engines even after completing the research, and there's currently no way to unlock the small grid Drill, Grinder, and Welder. There may be other similar issues that I simply haven't encountered.
These things were also reported in the Discord server for this mod over a month ago, by other users.

ok, started a new game, put in framework mod first, then both the vanilla tech tree and the research mod. still does not seem to be working. im still able to build everything threw stock progression. nothing seems to be locked behind research. what am i doing wrong?

yes, that is intended. This mod is incompatible with progression since it implements its own type of progression.

- just really got annoyed with like 4k blocks got unlocked at start and etc - even if i removed all block progression data and etc...

Is it because you have progression turned on in your vanilla game? That is a vanilla mechanic and does exactly what you describe.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it was still like that. Oddly enough if i load only the research framework and this mod, it works fine. Afterwards I can unload both and the world continues as normal

It seems to only break on the initial creation of the world which is very strange

So I launched a vanilla game after running this mod and dependencies as a test and now I can't access anything normally locked behind research. This is in a purely vanilla world

Research was designed to work with Block Restrictions. While you could probably get away with not using it, I do not believe the plugin works well enough to keep folks from finding workarounds to placing blocks.

Just another question,

is it possible to get AQD - Research without "Block Restriction" as dependency?
Or is there a way to completely disalbe it?

I try to manage block restrictions with a server plugin, hopefully I get it working via nexus
I also write a plugin in order to sync the knowledge by server change....

We use a torch server with permadeath!
Everything works fine except this:

1. If the server saves the game it does a hard rubberbanding.
(ServerSaveData.cfg with about 30 player entries cause a write lag, even on a ramdisk)
Is it possible to write the file not line by line (seen with procmon...) or just use a OneLinerOfDeath?

2. Is it possible to delete the "permadead" characters at ServerSaveData or simply only add
players who learned something?
So the file would be smaller.

2.1 Maybe is it possible to use a global BlockTypesUnlocked for blocks which are free to build. Like LightArmor etc. This would also reduce the ServerSaveData size.

3. ClearOnDeath
If I set clearondeath to true it resets after a server restart to false.
In addition if a player relogs all learned schematics are gone. Maybe because a character counts as dead if it is not online?

I'll let enenra answer about the tutorial, but the trading station stores are hard coded by Keen and unchangeable outside of editing the economy SBC files and uploading a new mod with your changes (nothing this mod can do on that front).

That's why you can set research time multipliers, as per the progression framework's mod description.

Heya! Great mod. This should be vanilla gameplay. I like researching stuff.

Just a short question,
I create a tiered block research map atm. Is it possible to have two prerequisites with your spreadsheet? Or do I have to code it by myself?
