Yes you need some extra stuff and no if you want trains, either download some or build them yourself, There is tutorials on Youtube on building your own trains in Garry'smod.

Nico you need to mount the games into gmod by clicking on the little game controller in the corner of the main menu and click the checkboxes next to your games that you want to mount. also the description says that you also need to mount counter strike: source as well.

Watching that first video makes me appriceate the way that people have helped trainbuild evolve over the years, going from the huge (as it turns out) sprops rails, to now, a new guage, 56 unit guage, which is real standard guage.
As for loco controll, I have a true appriceation for each and every person who was brave enough to try their hand at building a locomotive, it looks very hard from what I've seen.

Watching everyone rage about wanting the locomotive is awesome. I haven't played Gmod in years, have no interest in updating the map, releasing the loco, or doing anything else for this map. Cheers.

The locomotive was deleted most likely, look at the upload date, atleast beg for new and nice stuff like this: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=820528459 Oh and the map is over 3 years old now, so it has issues, infact I dont think the maker even involves in garry's mod much anymore.

Why are people asking for updates, this map is like 2 years out of date. Secondly the engine is a pile of crap, Its old, There is like a billion more up to date better things, plus he wont release because he doesnt have to give anything to you whiny people who are too lazy to build your own train!

Well mabye not everyone is godlike enought to create stuff like that themselves because fror me as an example all theese tools just seem confusing as .... and a lot of the props are just labeled ERROR

Normally i'd be "meh" about saying thigns but i haven't seen a single map with a mine-style sector for mine trains, perhaps you could consider adding one in the airea where that one S rail leads off to nothing? maybe with some stuff to pick upt :3
