A: they do too much (like your cyberpunk set, it doesn't look like him anymore)
B: don't fit the game or character (like the cyber engie and pirate Spy, cyberpunk does not fit TF2 and piracy is Demo's thing, it's super out of character otherwise)
C: egregious paint regions/colors, the whole Spy coat is a fucking nightmare because you removed almost all of his color, which is pretty bad for obvious reasons.
I'd recommend going back to basics. look at craft hats, most of them are good, why? because they're simple. the Counterfeit Billycock for example looks good on Spy because:
1. He uses disguises, and the hat itself is disguised
2. it's a simple top hat, something he'd wear and is appropriate for the time
it's a good hat that expands both Spy and the world of TF2 for the better. just simple stuff like that will get votes, at least mine.
I can feel your stress of not being able to have any items submitted but let me warm you up by saying that all of these items, whether I like them or not (spoiler alert: I like them) are super unique and I can barely think of anything else that comes to mind that look even REMOTELY similar.
All of these items, from Death Metal Heavy, to Yakuza Spy to Cyberpunk Scout are so interesting in their own special way!
Thank you for creating what you enjoy making and let's hope that your items get into the game real soon!
Have a good day and stay safe!
