The opening says that it's dated April 15, but this mission should seem to be dated 4-7 May. The 12th and 9th army's joint escape to the Elbe was historically in early May (4th-7th) after Berlin was captured. Up until then there was a failed attempt to return to Berlin (late April) and then the Battle of Halbe (latef April) when a German group tried, partly successfully, to escape from Halbe toward the Elbe.

I played it on Hard and lost my 2 tanks, but I got to the part where you are supposed to capture the village and radio. At that point, I wasn't strong enough to take the village while getting attacked from behind.

If you destroyed all the enemy in the radio part, just move all the unit into the village and then you can continue. Capturing the T-34 or not will no longer be the problem.

Im at the radio part, cant do anything even with no enemy's or enemy vehicles, mission broken or something?

I have same Problem as Ujung_tanduk i already tried to destroy everything even my captured T-34 from first part of mission

@kubqb I did try it just now, but it doesnt seems to be triggering anything, i have literally destroy all enemy equipments to ashes and the map is clean of enemy units, but even after that the task stating that I should repel the counter attack and the radio doesnt seems to be completed, is there like a certain steps i need to be taking, like for example should I go to the radio first and repel the counter attack then liberate the village? or it doesnt really matter? But thank you though for the advice

@Ujung_tanduk try making sure each enemy APC has been destroyed, i had the same problem, then i bombed all the transports and got the hint to move all units into the village.

@carrot, hi, I have encountered a problem in the mission similar to what communism123 is having, it seems that i can't get to accomplish the radio task, even if the game have triggered the script saying that the counter attack is happening, and basically I am stuck right now in the village area, even though i have tried to bring all the units to the village after repel the counter attack to trigger the next scene like you've told us, but it doesnt seem to do anything, but other than that, great mission, hopefully this problem can be solved so I will be able to actually finish the mission

I just made the mission after finding this event on the internet, and I've foreseen this mission would cause arguments which involved the crime during the WW2, especially between Allies and Soviets. And now, that is enough. I'll clear the sharp arguments. And I suggest, enjoy the game and keep your reservations. It's just a game.

Alright Just saying for the maker of this: This was a great mission (after the bugs) and was really fun escaping the Soviet army with capture tanks and other things from the soviets. all so where we post to find the Tiger able to be fixed up in the city for with that I was able to win pretty easily. but really Mission 8/10 (need to fix the bugs)

But over cleanaisings on the East after war my Polish friends has a lot to say too... They were massacred for bouth Germans and Soviets but after war they do an extensive and tremendous "work" with east germans and Ukranians/bielorusians... Nor East Germany or URSS care much about it... And thanks to this actions now there is no minoritis inside Poland even in areas assigned after war and that never in history where ethnicaly polish at all... That´s the price that humanity has to pay for intolerance and ethnical hate...
Again my many polish friends know this is true but who could dare acusing them with his history of survival against all odds with two giants trying to destroy them once and again...

During the radio task, the player have to destroyed all Soviet vehicles and left about 20 soviet soldiers, after that ,the soviet troops will retreat. Then you need to move all your units into the village and move to the next. I have tried just now and I'm sure it could be triggered.
If there are still some problems, I will keep fixing it.

They worked mightily to head to the Western occupation zones or- once there- to stay there. Two key things; You're primarily talking about German POWs formally registered. And in that you're correct, for as far as it goes.

The problem is, it doesn't go nearly as far as you go, because besides possible summary executions or whatnot against German troops who were never registered (hardly beyond the pale given Nazi conduct towards Soviet prisoners and civilians), *MOST* of the Germans that the Soviets would've dealt with would've been civilians, not soldiers.

Secondly; "returned to GERMANY." In case you haven't freaking noticed, "Germany" even in 1932 was very different from Germany in 1946, so even Germans who had lived all their lives in East Prussia couldn't "return to Germany." Hence ethnic cleansing on a large scale as we see from the Benes Decrees and the Transylvanian and Galician operations of the NKVD.

After the the village has been secured and I repelled the counter attack. There is no checkmark next to the radio objective indicating that it's complete. I tried moving all my troops into the village, but nothing happens.

Are we supposed to believe the Germans initially tried only to surrender to the Western Allies at Reims without addressing the Eastern Front because the city was better?

Apparently the German military command KNEW They and their people had more to fear from the Soviets than they did the Western Allies. I wonder why that is?

yeah cool mission, same issue though. Once I get to capturing the village and securing the radio It does not let me move on

I played this mission and I can say it's good fun but I have a bug.. During the stage of us having to attack the Soviet villiage. I was able to kill the counter attack and get the radio and clear out the villiage. heck I move all my troops west where the Game say. Nothing I was stuck on a villiage with no way to keep going. You know how to fix this or no?
