ok so using the gizmo tool to turn the token 90% so its standing on its edge finally let me make it into a bag.... Such a strange bug. Idk what on earth happened to cause it.

It did work but the image i uploaded had the origin off center so I used undo so now the image will not be a bag. Even if I make a new object, or rename and reupload the image it will not become a bag.

I had been using this mod with no issue until for some reason a simple token made from a circular image absolutely refuses to become a bag. Literally anything else works except for tokens made from this image for some reason.

I want to use this mod, but its seems that when I subscribe it doesnt show in my tabletop simulator, its funny becaues make anything a counter works, any workaround? maybe someone has a save for this mod available?

I am trying to change dice into bags. The tool changes it into a bag, but whenever you pick it up it flips the die to the "2" side. Any way to fix it or suggestions? Awesome tool BTW

I love this, use it all the time. On one of my most recent modules, some people have reported getting a message about "updating models" and when they click update it fails.

Any idea what could be going on there?

It worked for me for normal shapes. But with a broken heart shape where the shape is a heart broken in two (with a small gap), it didn't work.

Still works for me, once you make an item an infinite bag, drop another one of that item into the bag, then you can pull out infinite.

next time try the `search` on a mod menu instead of `additive load`. You can even store the tool as a saved object. It's completely standalone

This was excellent and did everything I wanted in a really streamlined way. :)

The only issue I've found is that it seems that loading this into an existing game will create a new set of hands (one for each color) around the table, at the dimensions of the small, default table (so right in the play area for the larger Rectangular Custom table).

Once I found them it was easy to just delete them, but it was confusing for a second and definitely not intended; hopefully nothing else sneaky was added that will cause issues later.

Scratch that, the issue was actually due to a button created from the tile affecting the tile dimensions.

This tool seems to generate bags with elongated hitboxes when using it on rounded tiles, no preset for rounded tiles. Square tiles work just fine.

Scale = Bounds.Size*.9
This hides the bag-transform object on mouseover if your item isnt exactly the same shape.
Works perfectly for my purposes. Thanks! Amazing tool.

Is there any way to adjust the size of the selected "shape"? The object I am transforming does not have square edges on the z-axis, so the transformation is highly visible on mouseover.

I have run into some odd issues. A counter that is turned into a bug has a very oblong shape. If the object is tall enough it will topple over. It appears that the object that is created is not aligned to the original object. I would be happy to provide pictures or video if you could investigate.

Absolutely brilliant and works like a charm! I can take any Token I have made and turn it into a Bag. Fantastic!

@BeardedBear87 That only works if the object is a "Custom Model". If you have an ordinary Custom Token you have made from an image, the "custom" menu does not allow for automatically turning it into a Bag. This mod IS needed for turning things that aren't already a 3D Model, into a Bag.

so correct me if I"m wrong, but I've been making any unique items into bags in game with no mods or 3D work whatsoever.
you right click on any object in game (modded or vanilla), click on "Custom", check the "bag" or "infinite", then click the "Import" button and there, that's it you got a bag.
I don't mean to be rude but this mod is not needed.

I'm having some weird results. I tried to turn a hex tile into a bag, but now even though it has the infinity symbol, it's still just a normal tile.

I made this mod to be able to make Tiles or tokens bag, Like you can with models and assetbundles. the pieces you mentioned are custom models. If you right click them and press custom. You can select bag un type to make those a bag.

Hey Eldin. Fantastic mod, very useful.

As another has stated, I've made some objects to which the invisible bag sticks out under the object, raising it up. For some of these, I've flipped the object upside down then proceeded to make the bag, then right side it afterwards.

I've encountered and object that I cannot create correctly, it probably has to do with the mesh/model center point (if there is such a thing). I'm trying to create a bag from a green research station from the pandemic game

For reference.
The object I'm trying to create is part of the Pandemic Scripted Setup mod

These green research stations don't create correctly, which I believe is problem with model/mesh, not your utility.

It should be at the same position as the object. What type of object are we talking about and what thickness does it have?

it is the same size as the object, but it is under the object, so the object floats off the table by it's own height... shouldn't the invisible shape under the object be as flat as possible?

It should be the same size as your object. and that invisible shape is the actual bag.

Updated to also work for triangle and hex shape, and the ability to rotate the bag model to better fit your shape
