@Dracos Taibhse Thanks for the information. The crash happened because Ascension Reborn mod is not updated for the most recent Slay the Spire patch. I could replicate the same crash only with that mod loaded, and the comments of Ascension Reborn mod confirm the crash as well.

Unfortunately, I can't help you to avoid this crash. I tried 2.0 compatibility mod (by Alchyr) to see if it fixes the crash, but it didn't. So you should either wait for the authors to update Ascension Reborn mod, or disable it.

love this mod, only downside is that it always crashes once you're run is ended, I've died to events, normal encounters, elites, and bosses. it always crashes once it tries to transition to the exp screen

@DeBladeMasta Thanks for the report. It was a simple mistake, which I couldn't find because I can't test with controllers, so I really appreciate reporting it. It should be fixed with the v1.1.3 update.

There is an overflow happening during the dragon evolution screen when using a controller. Both right and left keys cause the index to increment. I'll post logs in next comment.

Getting crashes from what I think is this mod. I was playing as the Champ (Downfall) on a modded act 1 (The Menagerie).

This crash happened when I killed the Graft Worm enemy. That enemy has an effect that causes it to inflict 2 Weak and 2 Frail to the player on death, which I suspect is what caused the crash (as the Weak part is mentioned in the log).

Thanks a lot for this very interesting mod! But the game keeps crushing for me after I choose the boss relic (act 1 & 2 in two runs). Not sure whether it's just me or not.

Really interesting mod with some fun mechanics! The builds are varied and interesting, and there's lots of replay value. My one complaint (and a mild one at that) is the difficulty. I've played a lot of runs and I don't believe I've been able to beat the heart yet. I think that has to do with the dragon's low max HP. If he's killed, that often effectively means game-over. I'd like if there were some cards that would revive the dragon or at least make him more survivable. Not sure how feasible it is on a technical level, but it would also be nice if the dragon was affected by more relics. Many of them only seem to affect the tamer.

Still though, these are pretty minor gripes. I've been trying a bunch of different character mods recently and this is one of my favorites! (Also, the art is pretty adorable- especially the card art)

게더러와 포커에 이어서 3번째 모드였네요. 결론부터 말하면 별 기대없이 해봤는데 재미있었습니다. 카드 수집에따른 용의 진화형태와 전위 후위 전환에 따른 플레이 방식이 신선했습니다.별점만 보고 해볼까 말까 고민하시는분들은 일단 한판 돌려보시는걸 추천드립니다.
배부른 소리인건 알지만, 나중에라도 메인캐릭터와 용의 일러스트만 좀더 새련되게 바뀌면 더 좋을거같네요 :D

In the snake boss fight (it uses orbs to attack) the dragon is never focused,only the guy get blasted

@TriplePlay Thanks for the report. The crash occured in macOS because they removed support for something called JavaFX. I'm pretty sure I fixed it, but unfortunately I can't test it.

I've encountered a crash, truncated exception from log is below. I played Burning Strike, then an upgraded Cleansing Strike. The Burn from Burning Strike was the only status/curse I had (unsure if I've played Cleansing Strike with 2+, but it works if I have 0 status/curse cards). If relevant, I had the Medical Kit relic and am playing on a Mac.

At the end of the day, the only thing I'd do is make bonding show 4 choices instead of 3 because you get a dud once in a while, and that just feels bad. It's like reaching 10 mantra and drawing a bad hand, but that's why they gave watcher retain and scry. I reckon question card would help you figure out how to code this if at all possible.

There's some miscellaneous stuff like resonance form and reckless flurry practically being snecko eye exclusive, calculated defense probably being too good of a hard counter for the heart, and I often find myself wishing for the aggro switch to jump from 0 to 0 (or +1 to +1 which would be a micro buff) instead of 0 to +1, but it's mostly whatever.

PS: Idk if it's just me, but I've yet to meet the requirements for any tier 3 evolution, lmfao. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Thanks for comments! @Zu I designed Bonding that most of the related cards are decent without the Bonding bonus. I think the power level is decent but I understand people might think it is underwhelming. Relics not affecting Dragon is also sad. I might change these in the future.

I had high hopes for this when I saw who the mod author is. First impression is good.

I already feel like tweaking things here and there, especially bonding and how many relics ignore the dragon, but the unique power fantasy you get out of this duo is quite enjoyable.

all good, just some ideas from me that might work: have the dragons simple cycle back around so you can eventually get all the dragon upgrades, or maybe some kind of system where it just gives you a random one from that point on so that there is nothing to draw and it just keeps getting stronger.

@Cuchillo No plans currently. I originally designed Dragon to only evolve at the end of Act 1/2 because you only get boss relics there. Not only that, Act 4 is too short and I don't enjoy endless myself(sorry).

I considered implementing them anyway, but then I have to draw more dragons, figure out nice bonuses they get, how to make the evolve screen not awkward after you slay the heart, etc. I don't think it's worth it.

But maaaaaybe I can change my mind in the future.

Awesome mod, wondering if you were going to add something for passing act 3 into act 4, and some kind of support for endless mode? would love to just build up a super powered dragon.
