I walked in and saw the gab and thought "hmm, I wonder what that is for." Then I completely ignored it! But sometime ignoring key things can lead to a different solution. Which spawned this idea Laser Swamp . A slight twist on you puzzle. I hope you like it. BTW, nice puzzle!

That's not the intended solution, but that was very creative. Nicely done. The actual solution involves re-spawning the cube.

Oh, when I said, "nice to know the answer" - I mean 'intended' or 'unintended', not what the solution actually is, if what I did was 'unintended' - cheers.
