I'm not really sure what the cause is anymore, the base mod these are based on has gotten pretty broken with updates over time.

seems there's another ammo related issue. when you first build the gun, it works fine and loads ammo (though i have to use Isys Inventory Manager for it to force load ammo) Regardless ammo can be used and the gun can be used as normal. However, once i exit and save, the gun cannot load in ammo whatsoever when i load up the game again. I can take out the ammo and move it into a cargo container, confirming that my conveyor system is still connected. But putting ammo back into it is not possible. checking with IIM, and it says it cant move the ammo as there is no route to it. so i have to grind it all down and build a brand new one if i wish to use during that session. i hope this can be resolved.

If you can't get the magazines to work correctly what about changing it to individual rounds and greatly reducing their volume?

I never thought of that! Hmm. I just modify/rebalance and sometimes attempt fixing things to suit my needs.

Seems like a lot of the oddities with these guns comes from them inheriting from the rocket launcher. Maybe rockets can't actually have magazines, or maybe the railgun framework is structured to consume an entire ammo item per reload

Also had a weird bug with Railgun framework weapons that happens intermittently - might've been my PC.

I tried making it use actual magazines but it didn't work out - the original was similar behavior.

I could find a mod that has ammo that can be crafted at the basic assembler, though I dont know how helpful that would be

At a glance of game .sbc I didn't see how items could be added to basic assembler. However it looks like very few in-game weapon ammos can be made at one to begin with either

Best I can think of would be to look at how other ammo is made in the basic assembler instead of the full size one, that said I have no experience making mods for SE, only using them

Updated with 10rn magazine, updated cost to reflect such, and 600HP penetration. A premium autocannon compared to vanilla.
