We are aware the Youtube TV may not work, as GMod no longer supports the JS required to run embedded youtube videos. The regular StreamURL and Radio should work as intended.

This addon is quite bareboned. I might do more rehaul on it some time in the future. It shouldn't interfere with any other addons and you can check out the source code on GitHub.

Example usage that still works on my end:

streamurl "http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.m3u?id=1316323"

Example where it doesn't work:

streamurl http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.m3u?id=1316323
Couldn't play http :

Without the quotations, source engine won't know if this is a full string or not and will do its best to construct one. Notice the second line of the example, it will misinterpret the string and cut it from //.

If your error message is similar, then I can only assume the way you write it may confuse the engine.

It appears the youtube player seems to be broken down as of the latest update. I'll try make a work-around. Meanwhile, the regular radio works just fine. :)

Perhabs your friend does not have access to the link of the song. You could test this out by making your friend open the link on a browser and see if it works.

Get a webhost or somewhere to store your music then get the direct link to the file and use it with this addon.

Well, the addon streams directly from an audio file. It doesn't simply "open a browser in a background" which is why youtube videos won't work, as they are videos not audio. If you can dig out direct links to music from Milk Music, then it should work. Primarily this addon was tested for Shoutcast.
