#ContrarION, The Sumosaurus you probably encountered has the rampage buff to its max and this will cause it to generate health more rapidly. I really want to fix that among many other issues. But, when my laptop reached its age, I had to get a new computer which is preventing me to update the correct mod ID. I did not want to make a new workshop item where people would lose their dinos. At the moment I am working on redoing the mod for ASA and there are going to be a lot of changes and fixing.

Sounds like a great idea! At the moment I am in the middle of working on a new mod as well as trying to fix my mod uploader in Ark Dev. The Sumosaurus mod breaks whenever I make a new update.

can you make a new mod with a dodorex similar to the extinction core "Beast of Darkness", but make it like the prometheus creatures (if an enemy goes close to them from another mod they delete the enemy, so like the "destroymytarget" command)

where does it spawn on genesis 2?

@CreepinCrawlinCreature - Thanks for the info. I wanted to make sure it’s using the right egg. I saw a YouTube video of the Sumosaurus, but it had the default egg which had me concerned. I have never tested hatching the egg with the incubator, so I’m going to give that a try. So very sorry about the sumo damaging your base though.

Well it was the custom egg they lay, and i hatched it out of an S+ incubator. After I hatched it it spun and destroyed the incubator, a generator next to the incubator, damaged a bunch of other stations, and also damaged metal foundations walls and ceilings

@CreepinCrawlinCreature - I don’t know why the baby sumos are aggressive when you hatch them as I am not able to recreate that problem in the editor. I am going to have to put out that problem in my description and also let people know to back up their worlds. I’m also changing it to not damage structures beyond wood. In curiosity, is it a custom egg model like the wyverns and rock drake, or is it the default egg like dodos and raptors? This might help me narrow down the problem.

@CreepinCrawlinCreature - The sumo you were trying to knock out must have had its rampage buff at max, which increases the torpor regain when active. For some reason, the particle effect appears to not show on servers until you mount it. For the space attack “the one with the dusty particle effect,” I purposely made it twice the size of the sumo. The attack is supposed to be used when surrounded by a large crowd of entities. However, in the ark dev kit, I did fix the particle bug as well as some tweaks on the hit boxes because I did not feel it was correct either. I am still trying to get the mod stable at the moment before updating that.

this things torp drain is insane, are you supposed to tame it with something other than tranq darts?

I test it and yes he can and he literaly destroy overseer, love it.

@Acherkan - It is supposed to be able to do that. I shrunk the bounds of the dino to where it could fit through the cracks where the volcano is. I haven't fully tested it to see if it could fit through everything in the cave to get to the boss fight. Let me know if can't.

Yes, that is a bug at the moment, but you should be able to craft it in the smithy. It was never meant to be crafted in your personal inventory.

When you Learn the Saddle it states that it needs the smithy to be created but it only show up in your presonal crafting inventory and thus it can not be made... is this a bug?

@KENTAO205 - Unfortunately, not yet. I am having a bit of a problem with one of the new features that I am trying to add to the mod. I am trying to get the mod in a more stable state before I upload it. But, other mods can get the Sumosaurus to spawn like this one:

What's so wrong with it being fat? As far as I'm concerned, Sumo Wrestlers are scary as ♥♥♥♥, great mod man.

Very Strange Dino But i think its a good fit. Looks great in weird bright noisy colors which i usually dont like but it works with this dino. Mines a deep purple with neon green spikes And Bright yellow scales. looks better than natural colors. Name it nergal. thanks for the mod.

The Sumosaurus, like the Sumo Wrestler is fat because they rely on their weight to make it harder for their opponents to push them. Although not always visible, the Sumosaurus/Sumo wrestler’s body also has many muscles to help them fight.

@the blue wooper - No, the Sumosaurus will not throw you off and attack you. The rage acts more as a benefit rather than a penalty.

My friend was hatching a bunch of Sumosaurus eggs, which he has done many times before, but this time whenever he did, they exploded

@Reptile Boy- It has no purpose at the moment, but after the next update, it will be used for an item that will allow you to carry more weight. It will also be used as an ingredient for a special type of food that will give a rampage buff like the Sumosaurus has to whatever dino you feed it to.

gary46265 - But I did test the saddle command and it failed to spawn. Looks like the mod primal game data is starting to have issues as the game updates. Let me wrap up the next update before this becomes more of a problem.
