It looks like something got messed up with the palette in one of the recent updates to SE. I've recreated it, but (for some reason) I'm not able to access this addon, despite owning it, in the Workshop config tool.
Regardless, I have uploaded the fixed addon separately! Feel free to move over to it and let me know how it works for ya.
when will it be fixed
The temperature could be 40 degrees with 3 atm pressures. (it also has a ring system that you can see if you set auto mode to photo or Manuel and go to the dark side of the planet and you could keep that idk)
And lets hope that the custom colour works
Also, I did see you (or someone, not 100% sure who) recommended Kepler-22 b next - and yeah, absolutely! It's been a while since I've played around with custom planets, but I'll see what I can do in the future.
WELL WELL WELL
Hello all :') I'm terribly sorry for getting back so late; it's been a while and I haven't checked up on this addon in some time. I was changing up my PC a while ago and I believe the workshop files were accidentally moved onto my SSD, so anyone new who subscribed was missing the necessary .pak.
I've (hopefully) fixed this, and found the OG files - it works for me now, please let me know if this fix worked!
i tried to unsub and resub but its still barren
(i wanna create 4 stars system, 1 and 2 orbiting each other, and 3 4 orbiting each other too, but 3 and 4 orbiting 1 2)
Can somebody help me in discord? or here at chat (discord:Lotus#5885)
Yo! That's weird, I'm not sure why it's not showing up. It's still showing up for me, per regular, all working. Are you on any of the betas? Or maybe have any other addons that mess with stars or exoplanets?
Also, what exactly are you seeing? Does it have oceans and red bits, or is it back to the barren yellow-grey cratered rock that SE generates on default? (The default may be slightly different, haven't seen what it looks like in a while).
Also, Rodrigo's on Steam, as far as I'm aware, has been kinda broken for a while now. On the SE Discord, you should be able to find a working version, or something of the sort. If you do so, let me know, I may be able to just send the actual addon file I use for Rodrigo's.
Been procrastinating for a while since I didn't save the original reshade config, bUT I decided to take some time and search through both my memory and all of shaders and ended up finding my exact config that I used to take the screenshots.
Here's a link to a little Imgur album I compiled containing my exact Reshade config, plus two examples of a screenshot with and without it, to show the difference: https://imgur.com/a/DerGHN7
I'll also post this link in the actual description, in case anyone is curious in the future.
I do sometimes use a simple Reshade config that increases the saturation of reds a bit, making yellows slightly more orange, and making blues a bit less green. It's a bit more appealing to my personal eye in some cases.
I also do have Rodrigo's mod; if it currently isn't working/hasn't been fixed, I posted a quick fix explanation in my comment towards Jack Foxtrot.
I'm happy you like it, thanks for the feedback :)
Rodrigo's mod increases the "noise" of terrain, vastly increasing the detail and overall planetary terrain generation. It's absolutely wonderful :)
The reason why I'm saying it's required for this addon is that without it, the planet looks pretty damn barren, bland, and kinda icky - I made the addon with Rodrigo's in mind. You can absolutely use it without Rodrigo's, for, say, if you're in the beta branch, but it'll look incredibly different (and probably shitty).
Also, since (as of writing) Rodrigo's has been yet updated to the latest version of SE, I found a fix for this is to go into the Workshop Addon Editor, go into the files for Rodrigo's Mod, and copy the .pak file straight into SE's addons folder. Then, delete your cache, and start up SE again. This could also fix the issue with the beta branch, though I haven't tested that yet.
Hopefully this helps
Can I use this Kepler mod without it on the SE beta branch?
