Does this mod only allow them to be removed via a builder? I'd love to be able to just plop down a district on top of them like you can with swamps, forests, etc. Even if there's a negative (I think -1 amenities for 20 turns on normal or something is probably fair).

Like most other gameplay mods, this won't affect existing saved games.

Will this work when I load a saved game that was created without this mod, or do I need to start a new game with this mod for it to work?

This is a great idea for harvesting! Although I’d like to see a *negative* affect for harvesting — we shouldn’t destroy archaeological sites in real life, so neither should we in the game. But we also don’t want them standing in the way, so we could just give a negative affect once (ie costs -20 culture) when removing it? Might make my own fix for this, but still thanks for the mod!

I didn't want it to be a huge bonus, just enough to make it worth a little bit before you get around to harvesting. I also found it annoying that you couldn't do anything with antiquity sites until you collected the artifact.

I think maybe more cultural and science yield would make sense, but else great idea
