can you make a mod who just makes configurable the boost for batteries on character?

I totally understand the motiviation for this mod but also there is "Ratchet's Admin Chat Commands" which has a command named "!fillsuit" which I use for the same reason (building a grid and flashlight ran out)

yea i build and test ships and trucks the same way and energy and the no fuel warning are so annoying when i do

Any chance you might be able to make a less OP version of this say make the suit energy last 5x longer then current?

Yeah, someone further back in the comments mentioned a way to do it too - just never got around to it. Not sure if/when I will (things have been busy) :P

Yesss! I always prototype stuff in survival mode with admin tools enabled so I can test things like hydrogen and power consumption on the grids before moving to a true survival world. Running out of power was always a pain. Thanks for the mod!

I just want to mine roids and build stuff in survival, without care of all these things. Because I'm just playing this to relax after work. I don't use creative mode, because like said: I still want to gather the ressources I need.

What's the point of creative tools when you still weld and grind the grids? My issue is more with the constant message that H2 is low.

Thank. GOD. I tend to treat this game like a huge lego set and build ships in survival from community blueprints. I don't need to tell you how much time I waste travelling between my base and shipyard just because ''battery is low, no welder for you''. Now Imagine that over a build that is thousands of blocks in size. (I once built a 15 000 blocks ship, that took 2 weeks, at 3-5 hours a day, with maybe 3-4 hours of mining in there)

For those who might wonder, I build on Titan. Low grav means 1 h2 bottle lasts very long and I don't even need an o2 bottle to build for a long while. The rest of my inventory is for tools and components. I use the docking connector of the shipyard as my base cargo access, but that doesn't help with your energy problems, and chairs are soooooo slooooow.

All of this to say, thanks, this will improve my building experience. :)

@Rafe the Lame The point of infinite energy isn't to stop you from dying. If you run out of energy, you can't use your light or regular tools which is inconvenient if your trying to build stuff in survival mode with creative tools.

but couldnt you just make yourself invulnerable to damage so you dont have to worry about energy running low?

Alt+F10 to use admin mode, then activate invincible.

i dont whant HP to be infinite since that whould break the whole survival i whouldnt mind infiniteH2/O2 aswhell but no infinite life since whe can be attacked iff you whant infinite life just use the ALT+F10 to activate Admin mode

Yay, I won't have to carry heaps of powerkits when doing survival testing

What an interesting idea. I always switch over from creative to survival mode to test my designs, but this would eliminate that extra step, especially when I have to go back-and-forth tweaking the design and various settings to get optimum performance. Thanks.
