You should also take into account that your citizens first go shopping and then choose the sports facility closest to the shop. They teleport back home only if there aren't any sports facilities near the shop.

I'll have to check that, but I only have an indoor pool, and it's over 600m away from this. I have 5 large residential buildings right around it, and get zero visitors, but lots of workers.

Works perfectly fine. There may be another sports facility closer to your flats and all people go there unless it's full.

This one (like a lot of mods these days) doesn't work. Lots of workers, but nobody uses it.
