The value of the mod hasn't depreciated at all just by being deprecated

I recommend adding DEPRECIATED to the Mod Title, that way people can at a glance see the mod is no longer needed and dont have to go into the comment section

am i missing something? I still don't see a compass in the base game, unless we're talking about the headings bar at the top? I wish this mod is alive.

No longer needed. Preview #13 incorporated this into the base game.

Prefab loading is forked. Gives me a GyroCompassControler type that is incompatible with the GyroCompassControler type that's in the script.
The asset bundle must be rebuilt. Send help.

The modding tools for the current unstable beta are broken, ensuring only very simple mods can be updated to work.

This mod at the very least won't be updated until those tools are updated by the devs.

Probably just needs a recompile with the new framework. Unfortunately, that requires Harmony (not familiar with that one) and the new DWS.common.Resources and InjectionFramework sources for inclusion. These DWS files are not shared as part of the vanilla UBoat.

Agree @Top Cat said. We must have this mod in the base game. Without this it is very difficult to properly navigate and intercept enemy ships.

This mod is essential for any player. It eliminates the frustration of having to open the map or F3 orbit view just to give bearings to the helmsman. With this mod, you can simply click on the compass to direct the ship. It's disappointing that this feature isn't included in the base game. I hope to see an update that ensures compatibility with the beta preview and future versions. 😊

Like the torpedo computer, it IS modelled in the game. Just go look at any of the compasses. The problem is that some of these are not legible due to FOV and positioning. Either this mod, or a button to ask for a heading reading (like echosounder) is required.

How is a basic compass not in the game by default? It needs to be a mod? We have a torpedo computer modeled but not a compass?
