@ALEXZANDER YT, sounds like an issue the mod author needs to solve, since this mod only changes the variables already available by the game, but I'll see what I can do.

sadly abominamoles and rats deal normall dmg to walls cause they are not included in resistance code :D

Hey Doomofmax, love the work you did with updating the Wallgates mod, is there a way you can add health regen to them? it used to work with the wall regen mod, but that crashes now. maybe there is a way to incorporate it in the gates mod?

i mean they will have texture close to each other by weiw but will have small differences to immidiatly recognise what is door and what is wall :D

or just reskin so they look a bit different compare to regular wall cause they are same by texture and sometimes need to find them by cursore :D

Thinner (as in smaller) might be possible, but not making them quadratic could cause issues since the code is relatively simple. Also it would probably not work probably with Geometric Placement if they are just scaled down.
Different textures should be doable if I had some.

Here's a quick tutorial if you wanna try it:

can u add option to enable or disable armour system for moon walls so the have a bit more hammer resistance it look stupid as like they better than thulecite walls XD

Try using the default settings, and set "Damage Resistance" to "No Damage".

You should be able to, if you use a hammer and rightclick a couple of times.

If you increase the Damage Resistance setting, and keep the Health Multiplier at default,
the walls shouldn't get shorter, but should be able to take more enemy damage.

- Damage Resistance of 50% means your walls only take half of the damage enemys cause.
- Damage Resistance of 75% means your walls only take a quarter of the damage enemys cause.
- Player Damage Resistance adds the number you selected to that percentage, you should probably leave it at the default value, or the wall might become indestructible.

turning this on in a already made world makes all your already up
into one stack or very smmall short. also what best configs to keep wall
safe from enimes but good for me if I want to remodle the walls else where?

i agree its stupid -_- (when i set 50% generald resistance and 50% player resistance ) walls became undestructible so maybe numbers above 50% can be removed ) after that i degreased generals resistence to 33% for balance cause players do more damage and faster than animals

why general damage resistance and player damage resistance combine each other? its bit stupid i think , cause those 2 kinds are different and must have different code, for example player dealing dmg from spear to wall must be absolutly different from like hound does damage to wal -_-

@ALEXZANDER YT adding settings for each wall should be fine, the owner dealing less damage might be harder, same with adding more health by repairing it, because of the way Klei programmed it. I'll look into it when I have time

also add option when the owner of played wall could break it 2x time faster than each damage multiply option for example standart breakdown of wall is 3 hits aslo for example we multiply 3 hits to 4 = 12 so for the owner of current placed wall those amount of hits would degreased to 6 instead of 12 hits for inconcent players

So apparently the mod "Show me" displays it wrong from my testing,
since I use (a mod based on) it too:

Restance / Player Resistance -> Damage Taken
0/0 -> 27
33/33 -> 9
50/50 -> 0

67% * 67% is ~45%
55% * 27 = 14.85 and not 9.

33% + 33% is 66%
33% * 27 is 9.

50% + 50% is 100%
0% * 27 is 0 -> no damage.

I used the golden axe for testing, and tried the stone wall and the wooden wall.

Yeah tried a different stone wall and it didn't seem to take any damage, weird.
