Are you using the auto reload feature in the game? If you have it set to automatically reload, it plays another bolting animation.

I do want to remake the rifle, however.

Hi, don't know if you'll read it or not but i hope you'll remake Vetterli at some point because although it's goddamn great but has anim issue where right after loading the clip it reloads once again like it's a repurposed anim rig for a 5 shot rifle since Vetterli is 4 shot and it's kinda annoying "that guy mode off"

Probably not, though I am wanting to make some of the other Vetterli patterns. Namely the single-shot 1870 model as I own a cavalry variant of that.

Actually it wasn't that the rifle was bad, before ww1 this one of the best rifles made, the problem was that the ammo ran out, when you are spear vs spear, the guys who only fought with spears and the guys who only use spears in emergency situations or charges obviosly wouldn't win against them.

if you wanna go older, 1872 Glisenti model revolver exists, which is the oldest italian revolver i can find.

You should do next an Italian Brescia Bodeo Model 1902 revolver or the Italian Glisenti Brescia Model 1898 , they were very commonly used by police and military.
