Q: How does this weapon tier overhaul work with mods that add three tiers of their weapons?
A: It does a bit of trickery: the Tier 3 "coil" research and schematics are actually magnetic ones behind the scenes, so mod-added weapons that require magnetic research/schematics will become available when you get to coil weapons with this mod.

And then add this line to the config:
+CHANGE_TEMPLATE=(TEMPLATE=WEAPON_NAME, SET_WEAPON_CAT=CANNON)
Where you replacce "WEAPON_NAME" with whatever you want to swap, and then the type you're changing to on the other side of the equal sign.
Did you even manage to find that option? I'd like to do the exact same thing. Kiruka, many thanks for all your hard work! Can you help us out here? I'd like other classes to be able to equip Battle Rifles. Where is the option to change its class from Cannon to Rifle?

I'm curious though, is there any way to make the Battle Rifles work on LWOTC Ranger class as well as Gunners?
However, Russian Roulette isn't the only advantage of the Battle Rifle; it's also the only Cannon-class weapon that can use Underbarrels and Bayonets. Shadow Ops' Juggernaut can certainly put an underbarrel flamethrower to good use.
No idea about Tactical Armoury UI, I don't use it.

This is when it loads after Chimera. Can anyone else confirm this?
If you know your way around using WSR you can get the limited squadsight in the form of the Marksman ability from the SpecOps class . Just attach it to the cannons you wanna use as LMGs and disable the class itself if you just want the perk. Dunno about anything that replicates Battle Rifle behavior tho.
BTW not sure if you caught it already but the laser strike rifle seems to have wrong suppressor model assigned - rn it has the one that's meant for the normal laser rifle (I think the pulser uses that one or similar) so it's wide instead of long and glitches through the sides of the barrel instead of extending it ^^
You mention "giving the LMG a Sprinter". I take it you used WSR or something to add the Sprinter ability to it? I can take a look at your personal configs if you want a second pair of eyes on it.
