I only hit on the idea based off of something I worked on for another game. We ran into the same basic problem where small cars wouldn't couple right. So they were modeled as 2 and 3 car units. We went so far as to argue that the railroad did this on their own.

@Kitsune Dawn Thanks for the feedback, I didn't think of making the wagons as one articulating car instead of two seperate ones. I'll see what I can do sometime but I can't guarantee how long that will take.

One way to 'work around' the coupler issue, would be to make the cars in 2 car groups.

@FruitBerry The couplerOffset is suppose to be set between 10-150 and the ones that are used for the Minecarts is 2 distance, so the Minecarts would have to be quite large for it to make a difference.

what if you make the mine carts a tad bit bigger? that always helps

@FruitBerry Yeah the couplers don't really work that well on this scale, hopefully that will be fixed in a modding update but Idk how long that would be.

the mine carts are so small that when i try to make a train out of them, they just start to glitch inside of each other.
