Hey - how do you fix the issue where every time I restart the game, or load a save, the mod resets all options to defaults, re "updates" faction settings, and deletes all and any inventory I had in the horse? Love the mod but kinda un-usable in it's current form - what am I doing wrong?

I absolutely LOVE this mod, but I am wondering... Is there any possible way to make Serana ride a different horse??? I really don't like how any conjured horse looks in Skyrim, and it really annoys me that it charges into combat. But Serana is my favorite follower, and I really like everything else about this mod!!!
I tried setting my followers to all use the same horse, rather than per follower, but Serana's flaming horse seems to override that. Please let me know if there is anything I can do! And thanks for the amazing mod :)

I love this mod but it does have a problem. This is the second time it has stopped recognising the keybinding for no reason. Works fine one minute and then it doesn't. I have to uninstall and reinstall the mod to get it working again. I have to rebuy the horn each time which is annoying. If anyone knows of a fix for this problem that doesn't entail reinstalling the mod I would love to hear from you.

Does this mod let you aim the bow 360?

I absolutely love this mod, but unfortunately it messes with the "Brynjolf has time for you" mod. I was wondering if there was a version of this mod that could be created without the follower mount aspect?

After downloading this mod I cant mount any horse. Even if I bought it after I installed the mod

ngl had no idea the hot air balloon was from this mod, so when I saw it activate for the first time I was severely confused for awhile.

Great and very convenient mod! Really enhanced my experience with those normally pesky horses! I really enjoyed having that many options to fine tune everything i needed and I absolutely loved the quest to learn how to whistle, made my laugh a few times!

I would just like to comment that as amazing as this mod is, unfortunately, if you mount another horse that isnt the original, you lose the speed you put on your horse and it wont let you put it back on. i usually end up having to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to get it to work again. love this mod, but kinda an inconvenient bug.

i put it on neutral and it still doesn't do damage nor send them flying. any ideas?

Hello there. I recently installed Skyrim after not playing for a few years. I remember the mod had worked fine for me but now I cant get it to show up ingame. I cant find any solution to my problem in the description or the comments please help

I did the steps for uninstalling but Bartanis Blackthorn is still at the Whiterun Stables, I have the Horse Armor Mod installed but even using the "Disable-Enable" method but still nothing. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Played a fair few hours with this mod installed now, love that it allows me to explore Skyrim on my noble steed without it getting killed everytime I get attacked by something! The horse storage is also super useful, as well as the horse whistle.

Hi, I subbed to this mod a couple years ago and really liked it, I recently started playing and found that all the models for the horses had changed, where can I find older versions of this mod as I liked the older designs more?

so i bought the horse, rode it, and slept for more then 10 hours and still havent been able to start the questline. any ideas? thanks. :)

@fbarb Do you ever read the description?
1. Open console and type (StopQuest CH) to release all running scripts. Make sure you DO NOT do this while factions are being updated or any other mod actions are in the process.
2. Save the game to a new slot. All previous saves made with the mod active are considered to be dirty saves and are not safe to be used with any newer versions of this mod released in the future.
3. Uninstall the mod.

this mod is causing problems with my game and i cant get removed from game files. i have unsubscribed and it still shows up in the game. once this mod was installed i can no longer talk to people the option is just missing to start talking. past saves work until the mod code starts running. can anyone hlep me out

I have a problem in the "Main" settings of the mod. In that configuration option, it allows me to use "Bound key" or "Multi tap". The problem is that if I assign keys to the options, both mounted and dismounted from the horse, in "Bound Key" only the action "Mount" works and the others do not work for me. In Multi Tap, all work for me, but the problem is that they are activated with a delay (Horse inventory - talk - harving - mount / dismount - fast dismount - follow toggle) between 5 to 10 sec. Please help me

just started using skyrim mods, and i am figuring out some conflicts. Not sure if it is this mod causing a problem that seems to limit the area of affect for mounted melee attacks. The target has to be directly in front of your character during mounted combat in order to make contact. Also this mod seems to ignore custom weapons when equipped on mounted followers, but only when weapon is drawn (in combat). i see a vanilla dwarven axe instead of "gimli's battleaxe" for example.

mb: your horse can sprint for a limited time, just like you can. By default, it's the left alt key.

More bugs than features. Installed it before a massive battle and followers became peaceful hippies. They were not fighting even when wolves were attacking their horses or unless someone already gave them a good punch. The introduced "whistle" joke is idiotic at best, and animation glitches with Sophia the follower (way more important mod than this one) just render horses mod useless. Will try to uninstall and hope it won't break the save.

Does this work with Shadowmere?

I don't usually leave comments for mods, but is there any way you could add a glass armor set for the horse? I specialize in Light Armor and currently have glass armor and I think it would be cool if my horse could match me when I'm on the road :)
