I was checking other weapons with laser on 3rd person, and i can't see the laser on them too. So this is probably a vanilla bug. Sorry :D

I found a bug and i think it's from this mod. The worldmodel doesn't show the laser red line when you have laser on your weapon.

Blender is not needed to remove muzzle flash. all you need is a hex editor

aye ive been using this mod for a year or two and i really love it. is there a way to do this with all the guns or is that like mega hard work? i have autism and i hate flashing lights so whenever im shooting the guns in l4d it bothers me but not to the extreme but it does make me a lil sick.

Would love it if you posted a tutorial on how to remove the muzzle flash from other workshop weapons! I've tried to decompile and recompile some after editing the muzzle flash event using Crowbar, but some weapon animations become broken. Hex editing would probably be the solution.

it would be nice if the muzzle smoke from the suppressor wasn't removed with the muzzleflash. while it does make sense for a suppressed weapon to Not emit muzzle flash they emit smoke from the end of the suppressor. Just a thought unless its not possible to separate the two.

just renaming the event muzzle_flash and similiar to it: muzzle to something else will break the muzzle flash from showing up

yeah it should work on servers with addons enabled, or if you know how to bypass it on versus

i notice that the vpk file doesnt have any scripts (then again, i'm ignorant on that matter), and also the flashlight doesnt blink whenever you're shooting, does that mean it will work on any server?

To be fair it's not hard but I don't see a point to remove muzzle flash from weapons that actually should have them
