Actually, this mod is entirely realistic for the US, UK, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, China, and Russia. Probably also the Scandinavian countries, too.

If you change it from banks to the federal government providing you the money. Or, more accurately, the deficit is in and of itself irrelevant (it's how it affects other things that matters), and the federal debt is just how much money has been created and not been destroyed yet.

It's possible but difficult for Brazil, India, Argentina, Mexico, and any other country that has its own currency (as opposed to using someone else's currency, like the Euro, for instance).

Though it DOES require taxes to create demand for the currency, in the above countries taxes do not fund federal programs because the federal government has a monopoly on the manufacture of their currency. So they literally can't run out of money unless they want to, and spending more only can cause inflation if they've fully employed all their resources.

For anyone who is currently wondering under which section this lies, it is under the Economy policy section.

This mod works if you revert to the original version. Unfortunately, a recent update with the game has caused I think all mods on the steam workshop to not download for some weird reason and not show up in the game. Most on the actual website do work by clicking the ZIP file and putting it onto your game. Therefore, you will need to revert to the older version as an update with the game has caused all mods to effectively not work.

Hi, I'm running this on a Mac and am running into where the mod seemingly disappears friom the mods list permanently. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall in a couple of orders, one of the things I noticed right off the bat was that the mod doesn't seem to install anymore. I happened to have the mods folder, as well as the general D3 folder open and neither of them had any movement.

I have no idea what is causing that issue, sorry. It works on mine and quite a lot of others. Perhaps explaining the issues that you have a little more would help us diagnose what the issue could be.

The mod didn't work the first time I installed it. It didn't show up anywhere in my game, including wherever the creator said it would. It did show up in the mod list, however once unsubscribed, that's it. The mod will cease to work if it ever did. Even if I subscribe again and reinstall the game like I did over and over, the mod will never show up again no matter how many times I try.

The mod works- there's no reason why it shouldn't.
Must be a conflict with another mod you have installed. Try reinstalling.

This mod crashes the game even when I'm just selecting the policy to look at it.

This isn't really a cheat - this is how money is actually created in states with fiat currencies today (UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, etc).

It's the basis of Modern Monetary Theory so thanks for providing the option to run the economy like we already do (even if inadvertently!)

Subscribing IS installing the mod, it will appear in the mods section ingame when you click subscribe. although i need to warn you. DO NOT UNSUBSCRIBE from the mod, if you do and eventually you want to reinstall it for whatever reason, it won't work. it just won't appear for whatever stupid reason. JUST DISABLE THE MOD in the Mods section INGAME. and leave it at that. DO NOT UNINSTALL!.

how can i download this? i can only subscribe?

I got it working but it then crashed my game, any ideas on why that happend?

It works on my laptop. I guess mods with Democracy 3 is just really glitchy, i dont know.

Unfortunately I can't help any further. I have tested on a fresh computer, with no other mods and all DLC's and it appears in the mod list and works correctly and as I intended. I can't think of what the error could be other than unsubscribing and resubscribing.

All out of ideas I'm afraid.

It doesnt even appear in my mod list, nor do I have any other mods. I only have the Social Engineering DLC.

I have checked, and it is working completely fine with vanilla + all DLC's. I assume that another mod that you are all using is interfering with this.

Please make sure the mod is enabled, and you will find the Extreme Investment policy in the Economic dection (when you start a new game, you will find in the new policies menu, it's not auto-enrolled).

Yeah I have no idea why this isnt working, I have no expierence in modding but I took a look in policies.csv and I dont notice anything different.

game is crashes when i click the icon

As others seem to have said here, I am having problems with the mod not showing up, or apparently downloading at all. Other mods install and show up just fine, but no matter what I do (Unsubbing and re-subbing) I cannot get this to work.

I think the problem is, with modding and this game, i have this problem with alot of mods and this game, never any other game, maybe its something to do with DLC or something, but its not just this mod, and is defiinitly just this game.

Yeah i did that, but when i started the game it tryed to load the mod im assuming (there was a loading bar) so 10 minutes later it was still loading uhg, idk i canceled the load, went to the mods section and it was empty, naturally. a tryed re loading the mod by refreshing and it just wouldn't stop loading. Not sure why that is happening :/ hm. its prolly not your mod thats the problem, i'll try another mod or two see if it works or not.

The mod just doens't work, sorry, not even appearing in the mods menu.

I will not be making a zip file of this mod. As Caesar suggested, look for the bank symbol in Policy Ideas > Economy > Extreme Investment.

To install, stop playing the game, subscribe to this mod, restart the game, enable the mod in the menu, load a new game and see above to find the policy. The same goes if you find any issues, just follow this process and it will appear for you.

All the mods that show up in the mod menu have a .pak extension, but your mod does not. Not really sure why it's necessary, I haven't modded D3, but it seems the most likely cause. Hope you can get it up and working, because it's a rather fun mod to play around with. Cheers.

Using the steam workshop downloader, I downloaded your mod, as well as a working other mod. The working mod has a .pak extension. Your mod is an 18 KB no extension file, and so D3 has no idea what to do with it, and doesn't download it at all. Maybe reuploading?

Try unsubscribing and subscribing again. If that doesn't work, it may be that some of the values have changed since the DLC packs have came out? It's a fairly simple mod, it would only break if the actual financial side of the game was altered in any way. I shall investigate.

You realize that is still unlimited right? Regardless of how much you are getting, you are getting an endless supply of it, which, last I checked, means unlimited. Also, why would you get a mod like this if you plan on giving yourself the least amount of money possible? If you are going to do something, you might as well go all out on it.
