I'm glad to see that one of the last remnants of the HIP mod is now fully integrated into the base game. It would make me so happy to see HIP mod alive again... but dreaming is free hahaha

Congratulations to the mod team who made this mod - your legacy has been made official.

I knew this mod was a favourite of mine for a reason, and the new DLC is great too. Wonder if this mod could be revived to fit the new stuff (economy system, education rework etc.) since much has already been added.

Provided I did not make a public annoucement I expect you missed this news:
I reformatted my windows install after some issues after Modcon and accidentally did not save my local progress that I did not push in several branches ; so I lost a lot of work progress.
I also recently moved to a new appartement and it is a busy time at work.

No, first reason is the court major updates and second the Iberian Struggle medium updates. Both updates may have shifted some of the provinces and functionalities which will crash the game if you are trying it with this mod.

Just for info, a new dlc has been announced and will arrive May 31.. This means the devs will no doubt change the game entirely again.. which affects your work on your mod. If I was you guys, I would wait until the DLC comes out then continue from there, otherwise it might become double-work.

But yes indeed, as announced on the discord, we are working on updating, but currently refactoring the entire mod architecture and codebase for better maintainability , so it might take some time, but it is coming along :)

Do the vassal contracts not have any continuity between each ruler? It seems like I shift my vassal contracts but then the next ruler to get appointed to the title just resets all my progress on getting the vassal contracts to where I wanted them...

Oh and, the nagging, pestering event to pick a Quadi in one of my vassal's courts that pops up every five seconds? Maybe implement a way to automate that.

The writing, such as events and descriptions and such, is really clunky and difficult in this mod. I assume none of the major developers speak English as a first language. It might be worth trying to find a team member specifically to optimise the translation because I for one am having to reread most things several times to figure out what was actually said.

Maybe somebody already asked but would 867 starting date be included in this mode in the future? It would be interesting to repeat Macedonian Renaissance with Roman administration and not French feudalism.

A lot of modders are working towards Royal Court release, I am guessing there will be a lot of cool mod releases too after the dlc release. Also heard rumours of modders merging many big mods into one big historically immersive mod or something, with sinews of war and many more ;)

I don't know if there are other people with this bug: whenever I start a new game, most of the primary titles of the counts are changed and it´s very annoying to change them manually

Byzantine popularity should be tweaked. I am losing popularity extremely fast despite winning battles and wars and not doing anything wrong. As a result of this every time i get claimant factions and lose the game

The Byzantine empire is kind of unplayable. My powerful vassals demand council seats but giving them a council seat requires appointing them to the administration which takes away all their titles for some reason. Even once you give them the position, they're still angry because they have a claim on the titles that they just had

okay nvm it doesnt stack anymore. then my new question is, what is the point of centralising power if these modifiers dont stack? Why would I make more than 1 theme a symmachoi?
