go to addons in the L4D2 main menu and put a tick in the box next to it.
If it is marked in red you have another addon conflicting with it disable the the conflicting addon and it will work

doesn't turn red when I turn it on, meaning no reconizable confliction with any other add-on, if I gotta physicaly search for what it conflicts with then sorry not subscribing, got way too many add-on's to look thru them all

Make it (or another one) Green. Cyan is not an ideal color for laser/holographic sights.
