hi,
could i use Satreus on a DS?
I would have to reupload it (unlisted) though cause i would like to alter ore distribution.
(get rid of Au, PT and Ice underground (only pole)

@Major Jon - hope this info is ok to post here?

How To Use: Updated for use on Scrapyard Survival (depends on respawn mod used)

- make sure rover mod is at the top for torch ran server list, bottom for coop/dedicated server
- go into this mod, 244850\2266665708\Data\RespawnPodEdit_LowAtmo and you need to edit the xml code

find this line of code <Ship> <!-- Planetary Rover -->
edit the line to this <Ship Enabled="false"> <!-- Planetary Rover -->
then save the xml and restart your server

this should fix the problem for some/most servers were the vanilla rover and/or custom rover are
spawning on all planets

Eureka! Inventory is tight so I was terrain clearing down to the marker and "saw" no ice. lol. Come on, don't you remember your first time seeing alien ice?! Thanks again!

there's a six meter deep layer of red ice 8m under the ground. below that is stone. you probably just didn't recognize it as ice. It's the vanilla ice from the alienplanet, so unless a mod overrides that voxelmaterial specifically it shouldn't be a problem.

Hello, thank you for the great planet! It looks and feels great to play in. I'm playing through a scenario with this in it, and I'm in a bit of a pickle now. Everything is out of hydro, and all of the ice deposits that show up under red flats are missing. The detector picks them up, but when I drill to them they're just stone, no ice. I'm heading for the pole now, but curious if anyone has encountered this.
Note - I am running a scenario, with mods, so I'm sure it's something on my end. I just don't know where to look.

principally yes, it will be safe, but some weathers deep in the desert will kill everything. The green plateaus will be safe.

Oh, this is an epic planet. If it had wolves it would have been in the colonial zone, with spiders it goes to the red dwarf region, where the flares would have influenced creatures to go below in day and come out at night. That is, if you, the creator, approves of this world being in a server.

I want to play Splitsie's Scrapyard Survival modpack but I want to make it more challenging. Watching MadVan's No Suit Survival, I got a taste for brutal weather. What weather types are on this planet, and if there are none that will cause grid damage, is there a configuration or mod available to change that?

im using this with the real solar systems mod and for the life of me i cant find out the reason that all the sand on satreus or the grass on teal is the stone texture

it really shouldn't do that. The encounters.sbc files from vanilla and all mods essentially just get merged into one big file by the game. The encounters in this mod I've made sure to give them all unique ids so they wouldn't override anything. They would only override vanilla, if I hadn't changed the id's. Essentially the satreus planet just adds 25 brand new encounters only for satreus, that are in the end just the same blueprints as the vanilla encounters. vanilla encounters only work on vanilla planets btw, except for two encounters, which can already spawn on modded planets as is.

Hello.
The last update you made to have planetary encounters override New Vanilla system.
it is a bit annoying If we have already modified the PlanetarySpawngroup config file of the game.

i found "Encounters_Satreus.sbc" file that i deleted in Satreus folder to prevent that.

if i write such a file in another moded planet folder will it override the Vanilla system for that specific planet ?

I honestly don't know what the problem could be, do any other planet mods work?
Only thing is sometimes mod downloads get corrupted. You could go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850 and delete folder 2266665708 to force it to redownload. That's rare though.

i followed all the steps in the description,checked almost every available post on here yet for some reason the planet isnt showing on the list of spawnable planets to paste does some on got a fix on this ???

I’m having a hard time viewing the atmosphere. I can see the skybox during the day as if there is no atmosphere even though there is. Is there some simple cause for something like this?

Is it possible to spawn on, or above, this planet as with the other planets?
If so, how would I go about making this happen?

Thank you, Major. When I loaded into the workshop, mods loaded. I assumed Satreus was one of them. It was not.

did you add the mod to the world? mods are not automatically active just because you subscribe to them. you have to add them to the world first.
