What do you mean? If you meant if I recommend using this mod, I'd say it works well enough to function and be played with, but since it's discontinued it won't be updated in the future, so bugs you find will remain there unfortunately. I would say use at your own risk, I use the mod when I play ASE instead of ASA and there's no gamebreaking issues with it, it's good fun if you're looking for slight additions.

It works best on Aberration although you can use the content in any map that has aberration creature spawns and resources :)

As for having more spawns I'd recommend using the simple spawners mod, unfortunately this version of the mod is discontinued and will be retaken in ASA.

Does this Mod only work on distortion? Other maps seem to be too difficult to refresh Grave Tyrant and Dodoreaper Boss, are there any fixes?

I can't remember their stats, buddy, iirc they're the same as vanilla rock drake but their speed is slightly increased, as well as the stamina. Can't exactly remember, though. It's been a few years since I dropped the mod.

RPG, would you be able to help me get some numbers I need for the Rock Drakes? I need to use a breeding app to get mutations and the app says there are stats in AB better mod that is not readable. The numbers I need are in DinoCharacterStatusComponent_BP_RockDrake but I am unable to read the file even after researching UE4 readers. Thanks in advance!

@ral1243 unfortunately not, I dropped modding ASE over a year ago. I'm sorry that the only answer I can give is "I can't" but that's it unfortunately. There's a little bug however. You can still do mass breeding with only two pheromones. Just feed them to the drakes you want to breed and simply leave there mating. Once the pheromone effect is over they won't stop breeding until you ride one of them or move them or turn them off mating. It works, I've used it myself and a lot of people I know have used it as well lol. The pheromones are just a little extra step.

As for how to deal with them you have to use powerful creatures against them, such as reapers, several rock drakes or bred basilisks. In a server I have with some friends we used a pack of imprinted ravagers with reinforced saddles against them. The loot they yield is quite good however, it's definitely worth the hunt

uhm, any tip how to handle those Grave Tyrants? i dont want to remove them as the Modder did such a great job on this mod that removing something feels bad, but a lvl 240 grave tyrant on a singleplayer game with normal dmg/health settings is a little tough tbh, got like 180k health and the 50%dmg reduction

oh yeah they work for boss fights, they have the same drag weight as rexes

@gractherat they are breedable! you need to feed them reaper pheromone glands first though :)

Hey i was wondering if theres a way to enable speed leveling on this mods rock drakes cause i have flyer speed leveling enabled but i still cant level the speed on the drakes

Hey I wanted to report that we're having zero issues on the hosted server we're playing on using the soul balls! :) it must just be an issue for local servers.
I know you said you don't work on the mod anymore, but I'm hopeful it'll be updated it to UE5 with the changes coming to Ark later this year. Aberration is my favorite map and it wouldn't be the same without your awesome mod lol

@RRG @Pumpkaboii Thank you both for the reply! I managed to get around it a bit using Awesome Teleporters to move blocked dinos around but will try the admin mode Pumpkaboii suggested. I'm setting up a hosted server to use this mod with a friend and will report back if we figure anything else out! PS: Thank you RRG for an amazing mod, I love it!

Unfortunately I can't do much, back when I was actively working on the mod I legit spent hours trying to figure out how to make Aberration treat a creature like it's an aberration creature so cryopods wouldn't give problems, but it's got to be so deep rooted in ARK's file system that I never found it. There's no checkbox in the creature BPs or the PrimalGameData of the mod that can allow certain creatures to be podded or not in Ab, which really sucks. Soul Traps did wonders for me as I didn't have problems taking them and out, but I could never find the way to fix the issue unfortunately :/

@ZakAttack if you have admin privileges on the world/server, right click when you have the soultrap out, and it will swap you to admin mode and you can do it. I think it has to do with the coding maybe, so the game thinks it's a dino not allowed on aberration. hope this helps

@RRG any advice for soul traps not letting me bring out dinos? So far the Grave Tyrant and Ab Dilos are stuck and I can't use cryos or soul traps on them or they can't come back out. I love the mod and want to recommend it to everyone I know but want to figure out the trap situation first. Please and thank you!

Love the mod, but I'm having the cannot deploy error while using Dino Storage soul balls. It seems like my Ab Deinonychus is fine but my Ab Dilos can't come out so now I'm worried to pod up anything else. Any tips, please?
