@Princess Trollestia - can you try again? I updated the files a little bit ago, with these changes I saw newborns+history characters get signs in vanilla (usually takes a 1year or so for history characters since their "birthday" must occur)

well, newborn and already existed chars cant get signs

tried with shogunate mod, placed your as last

Your mod is better than any another, because is flavor-like and not overpowered like "war education is for fools, i am was borned as leopard" or "you know, dots on the sky talks to me many years, so now i got 40 learning"

This is cool, but, not all characters end up having a birth sign.
In fact, most do not... So that is a balance & immersion issue.

Also for future reference this mod is mostly version independent, so don't be afraid of enabling it when a new version pops up. Some core things about modding would have to change to make it not work in the future

btw... I'm one of those Aquarii you were mentioning earlier... the strangest thing about being an Aquarius is that we pick up most of our knowledge by osmosis. No, seriously! All we have to do is be exposed to any source of input... a lecture or conversation... the Inter-trap... a friken People Magazine next to the chair in the waiting room... doesn't matter. We will automatically absorb every trivial fact as we speed read... or half-listen to the conversation or... sleep in class!

Can you add birthstones to it? I know my birthstone is Garnet for January. If there was some way to incorporate this with something like Clothing Tweaks, you could have crowns and jewelry with your birthstone in it.

@PipsForBreakfast That sounds like you have a mod conflict. If another mod adds traits in the same indices that ac566 said this mod uses (600-611) and this mod is loaded afterwards, the zodiac signs will override / replace whatever trait(s) the other mod has in those indices.

For some reason I can't figure out I'm getting two zodiac signs on all the characters in my realm. Any toughts?

@truelove101992 all traits added are like h_xxx where xxx is just a lowercased sign name e.g. h_aries. The indices are from 600-611

What are the trait IDs? I'd check the folders myself, but the folders for my mods aren't in my mods folders for some reason (though the MOD files themselves are in there for some reason).

I think it should be:

Aries +10 Martial (hot headed ppl)

Gemini +5/6 Intrigue (They are so confused they will prolly mix up what they are scheming on)

Virgo +8 Stewardship (Stern and mad)

Libra +14 Diplomacy (They are quite diplomatic)

Aquarius +16 Learning (You would be surprised on how much info they research and although quirky and weird af, they are on their own level)

That should do it in my books, But impressive still!

@ciaron88 Nearly all characters at start date have a birthday of Jan 1st XX. Rather than having every character start as a Capricorn, each character is given a random sign. This only happens for these history generated characters

Hi my PC at game start is born in January but got Leo sign. i have reloaded multiple times and he just gets a random one each time. Are these signs not tied to the birthday but just random? seems kinda bad if so, having people in the game with the same birthday but different signs

Double events bug should be fixed now

I was able to narrow it down to this mod causing me to get double event popups (especially when educating wards.)

I am unsure if anyone else getting this bug, but the new update seem to broke the traits. I am left with a bright purple box icon with nothing in them. Advice please. thanks.

@w.cabs I think I fixed it. Pisces is the "default" trait and the trait for Libra had the wrong dates

@Ac566 Something weird just happened. My character had a kid born in October 9th, but for some reason the Pisces trait appears for her, instead of Libra.

Well, humours were as made up as the Zodiac signs, but people still believed them to be true, and they were used to describe personalities and states of mind.

I'm excited to see what some ideas are for improvements/tweaks to the traits. Right off the bat, I think Scorpio is underpowered, and needs a boost to perhaps +30% fertility.

Taurus, cancer, leo, capricorn, and pisces are by far too overpowered. All other are at least a little OP.
