Cool?

This should have absolutely been a basic feature of the game, still, thank you for adding something everyone who plays multiplayer will be glad to have.

Seems cool, but I can't find anyone to play with the mod enabled. Any way around this?

Great mod as all of yours.
I think it would be cool to make events as well that shows to all the players if possible!

sorry for the late respond. when my friends joined the game, the game doesn't crash, but all of characters become 0 year old infant with fatal health. The game was only for full DLC and in-game chat mod. I tested it without attire packs and medieval monument pack, and it works fine. Probably the mod is incompatible for new attire and monument pack. BTW your mod is amazing, and it is 100% essential for ck3 multiplay. Thank you for the mod :)

Well that's good then. Probably underrated because a lot of players use external chat clients to play CK3 with others.

It does work, I've used it in my last two multiplayer campaigns.

@Yyyman vicky doesn't allow you to rename anything. And it's missing quite a few UI functions that CK3 has.

What's the difference between vic 3 and ck3?

Is this mod currently functional?

Tried this in a multiplayer game and couldn't get it to work. None of the fields, in either chats or letters, allowed me or my friend to type anything. Letters and messages would send, but blank. Unless I'm missing something, this mod doesn't work.

Well, provinces didn't work out, so the mod is still powered by murder.
But hey, "messages" won't show up in your kill list anymore.
Chat should also be visible to the observer now.
And I changed the UI a bit.

There might be some new bugs, I'll need to playtest it.

Updated for 1.4. Replaced space with an invisible character.
Also moved the chat to hud_bottom.gui instead of hud.gui, so it should be compatible with most mods.

I want to switch from using characters to provinces, this should be more reliable. Will try this tomorrow. And then I'll see what's wrong with the player list. It used to work.

The chat works on beta 1.4.5, but there are problems: the space is considered an unknown character, which must be removed at the beginning of the message. There is also a problem with the interface, where it shows players, it quickly disappears, this does not allow you to add or leave a private chat.

Great mod thanks. It seems it doesn't work with 769 mod in multiplayer. I couldnt joined to my friend's room while 2 mods are active.

I just had a look at the code for this and I've never seen anything so on brand for this game - Paradox need to bite the bullet and hire you already.
