they probably aren't bothering to update this until the all under heaven dlc releases since it'll likely come out around the end of the year, break every mod (probably) and add many features for this mod that the developer will add and other stuff. if y'all want to play the mod just go back to 1.15 and you can.

There are a few mistakes made, can't name them all on the top of my head but mostly dynasty ones. The Shimazu Clan for example should have the Minamoto Clan trait since the founder of the clan was Tadahisa, son of Minamoto no Yoritomo. Grandfather of Ashikaga Yoshiyasu should be Fujiwara no Suenori of the Southern branch of Fujiwara (Nan-ke). Missing dynasty members from many clans. Overall the mod is exceptional.

All Under Heaven won't invalidate this mod at all. CK3 ends in 1453 and isn't primarily focused on Japan, so if anything the update will give the modmakers more materials to work with, should they want to. Don't worry, lads.

This mod will at no point become obsolete. CK3's end date is 1453, which ends roughly halfway through the Muromachi period. As Shogunate covers early Heian period up to the siege of Osaka, it covers a much larger period of time. Furthermore, Shogunate is more detailed than I expect base CK3 to ever become.

The Ireland mod is still being updated despite being a base game tutorial island, this mod is more detailed within Japan than anything the dlc can give

Not really. The mod also covers Japan in the 1300s and 1400s, which are start dates we don't have in CK3. Plus, something tells me this mod will still be a more in-depth experience for Japan than what we get in All Under Heaven.

I mean, the All Under Heaven expansion isn't coming until the last quarter of 2025, so we're still quite far away. But yes, it does seem rather redundant to keep alive a mod that is about to be rendered more or less irrelevant.

Something tells me an update isn't coming, as the upcoming All Under Heaven DLC is going to, more-or-less, render this mod as unnecessary.

This mod has problems with frosting the textures of clothing/weapons on the character. I ran it without any other mods. It stretches the texture of clothing to advantage. What could be the problem? The old version of the mod? Just bugs? Thank you if someone suggests a solution.

I'm curious on what you think of the upcoming Under Heaven expansion coming later this year since that will be adding Japan as well? (Granted not during the Sengoku period)
