i didnt replace the l4d1 boomer but they share the same exploded

you should make a boomette version of some of the boomer mods you made. Mutation 2.0 is hard to feel immersed playing when you got a random boomette there

aha not really , it's just a lack of idea somtimes

do you plan on ever making boomette mods? all of your boomer mods only affect male boomers oddly enough, especailly the pregnant boomer one which seems kinda obvious to be for boomette. are boomette mods harder to make than male boomer mods?

Maybe unpack the boomer files, get the smd and compile on the default boomer qc again ( replace just the smd name and materials path and maybe delete the jigglebones lines and compile and pack again, same for the limbs, maybe htey updated it not only in update folder.

@captain, i'm not totally sure how to fix it since my puffball boomer use the default l4d2 boomer limbs and in the update folder there is not boomer_limbs in the limbs folder.

@Ramm.asmiette Don't worry I plan to do it myself, what I meant was that, there's a boomer mod I used before, but I don't use it now because killing them crashes the game. According to Jaiz and the Last Stand update team, the boomer mods that existed before the update need to be compatible with "boomer gibs" or whatever. Its technical so I never really understood. I asked this before in the Dead 4 Mods Discord but they didn't mind my message at all

@captain, if you mean replace the boomer on the last stand map , you ahve to unpack the vpk , decompile the mdl and replace in the qc file the name : boomer.mdl to boomer_l4d1.mdl ( i think ) and compile the qc file again to get the new mdl file , replace the old files , and pack again to vpk. i hope it's clear enough, but i won't fix someone else mod , got enough players reporting problems on my mods after that update mess.

Hey @Ramm.amiette, do you know how to make an existing boomer mod compatible with the last stand update? The mod authors of the boomer mods I used don't seem to plan on updating them anymore, so I thought of doing it myself

It's probably an issue with l4d2, they made different boomers ( boomette) but with only 1 death model ?

For some reason, the boomer doesn't have the skin but when it dies, the remains are from this skin.
