- They've been moved to a new mod that merges a few of my animal mods to make it easier to manage.
- no. I'm working on updates this week. Be patient.
- Wtf. A hugslib log please?
- Fixed.
- I don't get how they would be, but yes pictures or a lot would help.
- Sorry I can't help more. It's fine on my end, I even double checkedt he XML, so I don't know.
- I dont see anything in it, sorry.
- can't help you without a log.
I don't know anything about modding. Maybe it's a file that's steam doesn't usually upload or something, or maybe there's something really odd going on on my end (but at least I'm not alone with this weird bug now xD)
For reference, the other mods where it happens for me are: Outland -Core/Toxic Forest/Genetics, Tweaks Galore and Tabula Rasa.
Your other mods don't seem to have a version.txt for me when I check their folder. I've tried deleting it before but it just gets created again when I start the game then. Odd stuff indeed.
I've not got these issues personally, so there has to be something really weird going on with RimPy. I use that tool myself and have never seen it constantly trying to update mods like that.
From what I can tell they all have one thing in common. When the game starts up a new version.txt gets created in the mod root folder (the folder with the number of the mod). And because that file gets created Rimpy sees it as the latest update time (going by latest file date).
I don't know why the game adds these version.txt on starting Rimworld though for these mods. Maybe it is lacking something that would normally be in the mod somewhere and so it creates it itself?
and i swear it's only your mods. I unsubbed rebooted, subbed. same thing. every time i boot up rimworld- yep there's an update from Erin! LOL
For "Enables whether or not the animal will spawn (also controls if events related to them can fire"
Bruh if you want a patch so bad just make a patch and release it yourself. Or just use the mod you're literally right now using to add them. That's what that mod is for.
I've got something for this:
