can you make "abilities in custom battle" mod?

nvm i got the units but not all of the units are available like the sword infantry units from this mod is just the onna bushi and retainers

Nanban trade ship doesn't actually seem top show up as an option

are republican units supposed to be acceded with any factions?

well, the retainers are recruitable now but for some reason have a unit cap of 1.

@icpompumpario, Don Fistigno. Coming back to this months later, I figured out how to activate the samurai retainers. Apparently if they don't have a cost (as retainers cost 0 by default in multiplayer), they won't show up in the list. However, if they *do* cost money then they will show up. I'm currently testing it out and will add them into this mod once I've made sure everything works as intended.

It's probably incompatible with other mods that add their own units/modify already existing units. I know I have to de-activate this addon to play with something like the Portugal Faction mod, for example.

Unfortunately, they weren’t obtainable by toggling their playable status or making them “faction specific” for all the factions (like I did with the Black Ship). I’m still looking for ways to unlock them

and what about Samurai Retainers?

On the other hand it makes getting the Onna-Bugeisha achievement far easier.
