There are versions with balconies in this pack, see last 2 images
I honestly don't have an idea. The only thing I can say for sure is that each block is curved at an 18 degree angle.
RICO doesn't meddle with themes, placed buildings, etc. at all. If you are tired of using it and you unistall it, everything stays the same and all blocks are converted to normal.
Understood. I have actually installed RICO and will be trying to manually set up residential blocks. Is it expected that enabling RICO unloads the buildings from their themes?
The thing about "plattenbau"-buildings is that they are placed in certain constellations, which the game can't really recreate with its growable mechanic. So placing them manually (or with RICO) gets the most out of my assets.
Another advantage you have with RICO are realistic home counts per block.
Ah, I see. I have installed your 5-floor assets and they are indeed level 2... The problem is fixed, as I have used low tier Series 83 tenements as level 1 buildings. I will of course recheck whether something went wrong in installation. Thank you for your help.
On another note, may I ask a question about RICO? What is its purpose? I would assume such a function can only realistically be used to place unique assets, lest a player decides to literally spend hundreds of hours building a city block by block.
All 5-floor buildings are level 1, the 6-floor ones are level 2. Other than that I advise to use my assets with the RICO mod, as its difficult to recreate each building level with a fitting original.
