Any chance you could make this mod compatible with LWOTC please? It seems like my troops are levelling at the normal rate

great mod, currently playing a campaign with Scanning Sites Plus, Additional Covert Actions and Covert Action Mission, so hopefully this will help reduce the amount of level ups due to the increased amount of missions

I wonder why this mod has only an average rating. Then again, I don't know anyone would want to make to use this mod, instead of just playing on legend.

Works great and you can edit it as an easy way to change the kills needed to level up without going into your ini. It pairs really well with mods like Slower Avatar Project Progression and Delayed Force Increase to extend the length of your campaign.

I mean if you want to reduce xp gain just play on legendary since a soldier need over 160 xp to become colonel.

Thank you for your reply and I have lots of your mods too :steamhappy:

Also the reaper's claymore has a function like that.

I play with limited reload and reload ends turn, so it can be fun to see certain enemies running around because they ran out of ammo during a long mission :steammocking:

Is it possible to add it so their weapons have a chance to "jam"?

I don't think I have seen or heard of any mod doing that. I am not sure if that is even possible. The closest thing to a weapon malfunction this game has is the Codex psybomb, it "disables" XCOM weapons, causing them to "jam" and required a reload to "clear the jam" - it actually just depletes all ammo in the gun.

Is it possible to make the alien's weapons malfunction from time to time, this is from the fandom site:

"However, it is noted that alien plasma weaponry is highly unstable, with a very fine line between 'functioning' and 'overloading', and complexity in trying to operate certain weapons."

It would be fun to watch their weapons misfire (or even explode if it's moddable).

Somebody had already requested a way to reduce mission rewards, and I have it on my to-do list. I have not been active on XCOM 2 lately so I am not sure if or when I will get around to it.

Yes, the 8th rank mods actually use the default XP table. The XCOM developers made an 8th rank in the normal game but never used. This mod still alters that 8th rank, so yes it will work with 8th rank mods.
