Great mod! The worst part about it is that it ends.

I guess all i am saying is there is a difference between playing a difficult game and playing a game that is difficult to play.

I didn't think I was insulting anyone, I was just criticising the mod. Mr Author over here was the one to insult my skill, then apperently deleted one of my comments, when I turned that back on his game design skill. For those that apperently didn't get it from my first comment, I wrote it after I finished the level. It is not a skill issue, I was totally able to do it, it is more about the passage being badly optimised for the camera. I feel like I was giving honest criticism, because the the level would be more fun when the acid passage worked better. I feel like I was at least somewhat constructive, I am clearly not the first person to say something about it.

Well I passed the acid part first try with playing several hours of death wish. Looks like you need to cool down and try harder, or better yet, don't insult the author! It's not nice to be rude. Good day.

you know your this would only make sense if i wan't able to make it, right? just saying it was a chore and not fun

the acid part is awfull, the camera is way to slow, I had no idea where to go. It´s not that i could not make it but i kinda hat to rely on trail and error, which i.m.o is just bad gamedesign. I would either remove the acid or make the tower much bigger so you can actually what is going on.

Okay, there's just no indication that the fences hurt you.

If you are landing on the fences or falling too quickly, then it will hurt you, if you mean that the liquid falls and for some reason you are still hurt even when touching a safe platform like a box then it could have something to do with your games fps. basically Ue3 is held together with duct tape so things don't always work the same on everyone's pc :( I recommend 60 fps because thats where gameplay seems to have the least issues.

Any tips for the Train Rush part? The green liquid drains and I drop down but still die.

HOLY HECK! i always love mods that mess with the start area, since it's always a place you've familiarized yourself with very well. nearly anything in that area changing would instantly catch your attention, or give you an off feeling, no matter how small. so when you go to enter the main room, and it leads you to the machine room, your brain instantly goes NO NO NO! and perfectly emulates the surreal feeling of a dream. you should make a surreal horror game or something, you'd be really good at it! if you were to ever make another mod like this, i'd play it in a heartbeat.

the blurry effect is intentional, i believe you could turn it off in your graphics settings by disabling dof effects if you do not like it.

This was an awesome mod! The only issue though is that most of the game for me appeared blurry. Almost for the whole play through. Will reinstalling this mod will fix it?

That was an amazing mod! The Train Rush Part wasn't very straight forwards, as it took me a couple retries to figure it out. Probably adding a few arrows and making the electrified fences more obvious would help. What is the "Whoops Wrong Dream" referencing?

It was really great! Only Issue I had was the train rush part. Took me 10 minutes to figure out what to do. Otherwise I was stunned how amazing everything was, especially the no bonk slide part.

That was absolutely adorable. And incredibly creative.

This is one of the craziest, coolest, most creative mods I've played! I can't overstate how awesome this was to play!! Oh man. Good job.

You completely knocked it out of the park with this level, you hit the nail right in the head in the way you made it so dreamy, the way parts of the hub map joined together in complete chaos seamlessly, really captured that impossible dream physics one gets to experience when in deep sleep. Subverting expectations of getting the Time Piece was also a really fun touch, great great level! <3

if i remember correctly the acid can bug out if you hit it too many times in a short duration, then again idk it could have something to do with frame rate because it works with matinee... dying usually fixes the issue tho

Can you explain how to avoid being hit by the acid? I am trying to avoid it, but even if it's lower than my toes, it still hurts me and teleports back to the checkpoint.

that is an intentional effect to make the map feel more dreamy :)

The Depth of Field gets awkward for me after going into the first dream, as in the foreground gets blurry.

This was one of the best mod levels I ever played! It also made my brain blue screen.

Can't beat the level. Am stuck on the train part, got all power pons in the train and in the long corridor, made myself into the two hidden rift tokens but the block to the timepiece won't open.

So thoughts:
I generally enjoyed the map. It was visually interesting, especially with the reused content. It plays with your familiarity. I also liked the almost eerie atmosphere to it.

The only thing I took issue with was the platform segment with the no-bonk badge, but once I figured out what was intended ( sliding down the slopes to get speed to go up the wall ), it went pretty well.

I'd recommend giving the mod a go regardless of that issue on my side.

Never mind, I figured it out!

I still can't reach the platform after the level shift with no bonk surfing, it seems too far.

Am I just approaching it incorrectly?
