No, the green Smile having a bugged animation has been a thing since the mod came out, I've reported it over a year ago

amazing mod. one criticism though, it seems that this mod is not compatible with l4d1's infected, especially the green guys. the green ones just humps into the air making it hard to make out the hitbox. or is it just a me problem?

No I was talking about the specific Red And Black Heaven Smile that's part of the common infected. I know what the Backside Smile looks like, of course, but I've never seen that particular kind of Heaven Smile before.

First off I'm stupid; I thought you were talking about two seperate smiles, but you meant red+black on the one riot zombie.

That's the Backside Smile, it first appears in ISZK Land. The colors are slightly darker than what they render as in L4D2.

As for putting "my own shaders on them", that isn't possible because of how compiling the models themselves work.

The game's engine uses post-processing to give the shading to the models AFTER they are already compiled and put into the game engine, meaning I can't do much as L4D2 isn't built for cel-shading in flexible ways so I had to work with what I got.

They actually both appear in the game; but in VERY specific parts.

The Black Smile texture is from the Black Smiles that you fight in the school gymnasium, it's just that I took the liberty of putting it over one of the common smile models.

The (pure) Red Smile appears in ISZK Land in like one area if memory serves right...

What I found fascinating is that alot of the textures I used all appear in the game, but they are rendered so differently to the point they look like something else entirely when put under different lighting. :P

My question is though, what are the red and black regular Heaven Smiles? I can't remember if they're in Killer7 or not, so I thought they may be a bugged Backside Smile for the riot cops. Is it your own texture, or am I right?

I'm still trying to figure out why exactly the green smile spergs out randomly, as I've still haven't been able to recreate it yet. No weights are unaccounted for on the model so I'm wondering if it's inherently how the model's faces are done since it's different than the other smiles.

@arktomys I'll check up on it, I must've messed up on it's weights since I remember a green smile being one of the earliest ones I rigged. It shouldn't be too hard to quickly fix.

If fixing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up green smile is an easy fix would it be possible for you to release a fix? I really love the mod but that glitchy smile is pretty hard to shoot

I might've missed a step when compiling that specific smile, but it's an easy fix for me. :D

the green smiles do this weird lunging attack when they move plus there is a shadow problem with them, but i do really like this mod.
