Never mind I have solved it but will leave my comment as an extra help source for people. I had the same problem when I moved over the folder from my pending mods folder but when I reinstalled it it works fine maybe I should keep that folder lol:lunar2019deadpanpig:

You should just need to press install you don't have to move any files. Go to Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/362890/(find grusomegruongun) move all other addons out to a different folder(or you could uninstall them from the workshop I like to have a temporary mods folder though) also press ~ when in game and check console for any errors I haven't used this in a while so I don't know what might be wrong.

Hey, downloaded and installed the mod correctly, yet it doesn't work for me :c. I had the Monika's Beefy weapon Sounds mod installed, deleted it and added the GrusomeGruonGun mod, but it doesn't seem to work :/ I even tried starting a new game in interloper but welp it still doesn't work. Do you have any idea on how I could fix this? :)

*I originally deleted this comment since I forgot to try typing snd_restart, but it didn't work even when I tried it. Thank you anyways tho, even if it doesn't seem to work for me, this mod seems amazing :)

Thank you! Um...I have MBWS disabled while I uses this mod and anyway it uses the same sounds with a couple of exceptions cause I thought some were kinda wierd. You probably can't have them installed at the same time cause the use the same script.

Well then I don't really see any reasons the mod won't work for you? Maybe try redoing your custom folder or checking the integrity of your game files otherwise I don't think I can help you. Sorry.

well im not in beta and no i dont need to type game+mod bms/custom/* into gameinfo.txt because it ALREADY HAD A CUSTOM FILE...

Is the mod in your custom folder? Did you type "game+mod bms/custom/*" into the game info?
I don't see a reason that it shouldn't work other than the game itself. It might be the Public Beta?
The Public Beta always has tons of bugs. I can't check these things because I currently have Black Mesa uninstalled. Hope it works for you!:houndeye:
