There are "deploy" and "retrieve" buttons located on the button panel next to each crane, however I did not take the time to fully optimize that feature so it's far from flawless. May work sometimes may not. just press them once though or it will throw off the timers with repeated presses. Occasionally I had to copy and past the boat back in on the racks to get the right angle but again I had other projects looming so this got rushed.

Thanks for your reply. I should have worded it better. It's not strictly a mod that anyone else would need installed, i.e.; it doesn't add blocks to the game. It it a single blueprint made with blocks edited with a text editor to be flat. Thanks Cyan! I'm not a huge fan of mods for compatibility reasons. I like to keep things vanilla for everyone to enjoy and mod at their leisure. The water mod is the first one I've ever really used myself but that doesn't affect anyone else. You're more than welcome to mod it yourself though. I said mod alot....... mod

Looks amazing, the most ship-like ship I have seen in SE. May I suggest you use the flat triangles from this mod to make the red and blue paint diagonal?

*UPDATE*

I added more to the fore end that was incomplete including 4 guided missiles and missile control centers as well as a medical bay. I also optimized some smaller details but there is still some stuff that remains unfinished.

Like I said up in the description, I didn't really finish this so I wouldn't be surprised if there are some issues. The game still has some small block collision issues that they haven't completely eliminated but I'll take another look at it next time I have a chance and see if I can iron out the little stuff. As far as the boats, the two I included are based off actual Long Range Interceptors operated and deployed from these cutters but if you have one that works you are more than welcome to use it.

I have a patrol boat you could add to this and remove the 2 you have. Also when you paste the ship the blocks merge on Heli doors and issue with the rear ramp door. Other than that awesome ship.
