the mod files are separated from the game files so you don't risk anything, just try to do a file convalidation, it should be fine

I saw in your library that you have Repentance installed, this mod is not for Repentance, the Repentance version is in the description, that said, there should not be a reason why this mod is causing you problems, all the files in the mod are well separated from the game fiels, i hope that the discussions or Reddit can help you with your crashes

Hello author, I installed Deep Laboratories today. After downloading and starting the game, the texture seems not to be loaded correctly. There are some small errors. For real, I hate that there's really no 'review' function for mods like these. The amount of effort here is staggering. Everything that this mod does, from the music to the bosses to the items to the stages themselves fucking RULES. This is THE best tBoI overhaul mod there is, hands fucking down.

also check you are using this mod with the right DLC, this version is only compatible with Afterbirth plus, not just ab or rep

Disable mods throught an options file for Afterbirth+ that you can find in "Documents" and "My Games"

After I downloaded your mod the game crashed and could not start again please help.

I will try to tell you the basic method here but i don't have much time to help you directly:
Check the Isaac game folder for a "mod tools" folder, inside it open the resource extractor command you will find, doing that in your game files now you will see some resource folders with aaaaaalll the game image files, modify them and you are done

Just saw a video about this mod and i'm happy to see you are updating it, keep the good work and take your time!

I don't think cutscenes are gonna be ready so soon considering how many endings are there, it will probably not be ready for the first release

As I said, estimate. Half a week for misc things, a week for the cutscenes then another half week for the things that got added in the recent update like clutch.

I wouldn't be so quick to speak out on that. Repentance just had an update that changed sprites so maybe leave it to the devs to confirm.

We are nnot very sure about that 😅

The repentance version is almost finished, estimate around 2 weeks. I'm not a developer though so I can't say anything else.

@Blue Mog an you please make E-42 as a standalone character for those who like their gimmick, but don't want to use the full sprite & soundtrack overhaul that Deep Laboratories implements? I also want to play as E-42 in Repentance. I know you're probably busy, and I'm fairly certain that updating this mod will take lots of time, but making E-42 as a standalone character mod might be a great idea for a "demo" of sorts, (like how Sanio made a character demo of the Eevee - Runited mod,) which might be a great way to get more people hyped for the full release.

I should've said this sooner, But this mod is actually impressive. I love how you managed to take a dark, gruesome and gross game and turn it into a more SFW yet still very enjoyable game. I can imagine a lot of people who want to play Isaac for its gameplay but can't handle its nature will love this mod

if it crash even with all the stuff disabled i would suggest to copy your save files (just to be sure) and reinstall the game without mods
