The Raiju only has a 50% chance of appearing in a Champion quest, just like any other roaming monster
And that 50% chance only happens if the loading screen for him appears

Sometimes even if there's loading screen with Raiju and you retreat-start again, and same loading screen but no Raiju at all. I walked through each tile of dungeon, nothing.

I'll give a look into that and see what I can do if that's the case!

Question: I lost the Eye of the Storm due to a crash bug where a mod hero lost their trinkets.

I thought I just had to go get it back from the roaming raiju, but it only drops jute tapestry time and time again. I thought it was 100% trinket drop.

Is it a "only drop once" trinket?

If so, can you update it to be "one owned" instead? (like the ancestral ones that respawn as rewards when you loose them)

If not, and the drop isn't 100%, then I must have had really bad luck because I killed like 6 raijus so far.

I think you are confusing the Iga-ganis from the original Sunward Isles, that will only roam the Isles and not the rest of the map
The iga-ganis in this mod roam together with the Raiju, appearing only in missions of level 1 to 3

Oh he is still really strong since he was made to be overtunned compared to most base game bosses so yeah :v

It's not a Ultra Raiju tho.
It's just the "normal" version of the Raiju you would find in the final mission of the Sunward Isles.

ok finally tasted the raiju, and hell, even with the 3 trinket slots mod i almost got spanked out of the hamlet, thats the raiju i love and boi it hurts just as much as i remember the first time XDDDD

Sadly I can't add the battle theme from the original Raiju mod, I tried but custom music doesn't work with roaming bosses.
And to use that mod you need to remove the original Roaming Raiju.

oh and btw is it possible to have its music when you fight him instead of the default battle music of the area or it has compatibility issues since his soundtrack is from that one quest he appears? cuz that soundtrack was so good that my ears reached 90% virtue chance.

does this one has to be on top of the normal roaming raiju or do i have to uninstall the normal one then use this?

Nope
The only thing changed are the Raiju base stats, the rest is still the same.

The Roaming Raiju has a nerfed variant of the Raiju since it would be pretty hard to fight against him as a roamer.
This version is just the original Raiju pre-nerfs, so It's going to be more hard to fight against
