The flexes are for the ingame sprite faces, whether they're important or not, doesn't matter.
Texturing is what I could do best, sorry it isn't up to your code. Rigging I tried the best I could, I'm not that used to organic rigging, so it might be off in a few places.

The texturing and rigging on these models are very poor. And there are lots of flexes where there really shouldn't be flexes.
