I hope someone could get the project going
As people stated before the potential is amazing, you just have to stay with it, it'll take time but if you are able to pull this off this will be one of the best mods for CK3.
The potential for this mod is amazing.
Imagine some sagas developing from time to time with random events? And your future generation algo being a mage and all that...
The game has so much to do with Crusader Kings.
But this is as challenging as it is aewsome. It would be an almost 100% overhaul.
Gonna need a lot of work and experienced people involved. Its a shame that I am useless and can only cheer for you guys...
I'm not familiar with modding but I am good at dredging through rules to find things, I'm also part of a large ars magica game so i can run stuff past them as well
Perhaps you can help him with the mod. If not with technical help about modding, but at least providing more lore info on more detailed things. Sorry my bad english.
Just a note though, while a few magical traditions don't require the gift, most do; even the non-hermetic ones. Out of the books I have, there is a lot of info on hedge magic in Houses of Hermes Societates, in the section about house Ex Miscelanea, of particular interest is how a hedge tradition can be integrated into hermetic magic in the section: The Lineage of Pralix. I don't know how much of the source material you have access to or how deep your knowledge of the setting is but if you'd like some help on that front I'd be happy to help.
Now, there are "hedge mages" and "wizards" (as the members of the Order of Hermes would call them) in Mythic Europe. These are practicioners of lesser magics which don't require The Gift to be learned and so are commensurately less powerful.
