If you don't want the ears on that mod, look in the mod menu. There should be options there not only for different styles of the ears, tail, and bow, but also the option to remove them if you do not want them.

Ohhhh! thanks. I had to sadly take that mod off since the ears wouldn't go away even without wearing the costume.

I know that, problem is smaller HatSectionGroups have the hats float above a bit, and bigger ones clip through. Due to that, I either have problems with the positioning on Hat Kid, but look right on Bow Kid, or have it like it is where Hat Kid looks fine, but things are a little off with Bow Kid, at least in the editor. Haven't really checked in-game since I often do not play as Bow Kid.

Bow Kid's hairstyle is controlled by a variable called HatSectionGroup. If you spot any clipping issues with a hat mod, you can change the HatSectionGroup to "KidHat" or "FlatHair". "KidHat" gives Bow Kid pigtails, whereas "FlatHair" removes her curls. There are a lot of Hat mods make it so that the hats fit on both Hat Kid and Bow Kid. A few include Camb0t's police hat, Jawchewa's radical hat, Argle Bargle's ten-gallon hat as well as the flower hat, 8-Bitphone (headphones), and TF2 soldier helmet all made by different creators. It is possible but I don't know if they do anything else to get it to fit on both Bow Kid and Hat Kid so well besides simply swapping Bow Kid's hair for the pigtail one.

They can, but may look a bit weird. It seemed as well as I was able to place them on Hat Kid, the placement would be off on Bow Kid, and I do not think you can have placements differ between the two.
