no power shifting involves you to not let off the throttle. I guess i need to do it like that lol.

@johnzilla do you lift he the throttle when you shift up, to high revs will kill the engine

Question. I tend to for some reason break the engine while driving. is there a "specific way" i need to drive them? I do use the clutch to power shift so idk whats going on.

Awesome mod! But can you please update the Ligier F1 cars (1976-1977) with the Matra V12 engine. You could use the sound files from the F1 1982 mod (also in the workshop) or your Sports cars mod

The F1 70's Style mod gives us the chance not only to drive a F1 car from the 70s, we will be able to put wings, sidepods and all kind of things on the car.
To put it simple: you are not only able to put paint on your car, you are able to design your own car without knowledge.
How you put your car together has no effect on the handling of the car.
All cars are the same no matter what you attach to it.

Make sure that you use only the SR-Engine. Other engines are not allowed. Be careful with the engine, it is not fragile but it does not like high revs.

There will be a real trophy for the winner of the championship.

We made contracts with only the best historic tracks in the world to give you the ultimate drive.
This car is a must, hard to drive but still forgiving.
We don’t have a lot of rules but the one of the most important: You drive with friends.
Everybody has their right to be on the track, no matter if the driver is fast or slow.
You always have to give the other car enough room to survive. To drive somebody off the track will be punished.

All I can say is wow, what an incredible mod. The cars handle so well, and the fully customisable car is genius! It's great fun mixing and matching different styles, and creating customs grids with all the different kinds of cars. The car models look superb too, better than a lot of the official ISI and Studio 397 content in my opinion.

I found a bug. At least with 312T, car shows the fuel like an electric car.You can see it in this video. Take a look to the end of the lap, and you see an alert battery icon:

Great looking mod and the custom car bit is truelly amazing. On the other hand; spring rate is completely backwards with the weight bias. Game brake-r for me.

Guys this mod has the best tyre model of any RF2 mod i have ever used including all the studios efforts , i now dont have to run min pressure to combat ballooning tyres and now can actually use tyre pressures to tune the handling , what ever your doing keep doing it . SUPERB

ok, this is the first try to make it so easy at is possible, here is the Template for all parts, the Carbody is always the same for all cars, when you look at the showroom every part from the car have a Description, it have the same name as the layer in the template.
the mirror, rollbar, and rims is also the same for all cars

I just tested the magnificent 0.93 version! a very good job as usual! I know it's not a historical version but I can't help saying it's a shame these uniform cockpits ... I, who am passionate about F1, bothers me a bit. Otherwise the graphics are superb and it is a treat to drive these cars. well done !

There is a problem with the Wolff 77. When you're in the garage and put it in first gear, the car goes in reverse and then lifts up in the air and starts spinning in mid air.

Found another car with problems. Both 76 Brabham(Pace/Reuteman) overheat after short time, they don`t have any cooling. They also start with 82(oil/water)degrees celsius. Other cars start with 42 degrees temp.

It is a wonderfull mod, remembering us, how creative and diffrent to one another F1 cars these days were made. I still can remember the extremly screaming Matra and Alfa Romeo V12 engines.
