Wide open, rough on the eyes, but got one fun game out of it. I especially liked the forested hill. One con would be the openness allowing someone to skirt along the edge of the map to avoid detection and flank. I hate bottlenecks as well, but flanking is an annoying thing to constantly have to be concerned about.

I will soon relocate all my maps, polished, fresh and clean to a different uploader!
TheSphinx will upload the maps for me because the updating is bugged for me. I like to clean up and fix things after release so not being able to upload just won`t do. Maps will keep improving that way. Sorry for the inconvenience, you can resubscribe as soon as we have transferred the maps.

i have 2 more maps completed, a winter version of ALL maps and they have all been edited, improved, balanced, have an improved AI script (custom TM :D) and day / night and weather cycles. still can`t update anything... of all the people this could happen to, right?

it is drastic but eventually i will want this problem fixed. we will see. i`m almost done with a real life move from home, after this week, when i have internet again (cellphone now) i will fix it no matter what it takes :>)

I read about another map maker having the same problem. He had someone else upload the map for him, perhaps that is an option ?

Otherwise I would suggest re-installing steam. Creating a new account because Relic or Steam don't want to help is a drastic measure.

yea i have updated the maps a LOT, but i STILL cannot upload anything to the steam workshop. neither relic or steam are willing to aid me in this issue. i`ll do a full system restore, clean install and recompile of all my maps later and otherwise i`ll start uploading from a new steam account (sad, but i will do it eventually if that solves the problem)

This has a lot of potential, the only thing I would improve is the placement of the points, some are really close to eachother and others really far.

i can`t upload any maps. gives me unknown error code 2. i am in contact with steam support, but takes weeks and they can`t figure out what the problem is.

That's odd. What does it say when you try to edit it or add the updated version? Maybe you could just add the updated version, so players could choose between this one and the updated one? Just type in the usual stuff and then "(Updated version 1.0)"?

i added an AI script to all my maps that solves the stuck problem, made the popcap more manegable and incomes sligthly lower.

guys, the problem is, i uploaded it and now the steam workshop seems frozen, can`t edit, add, or remove maps at the moment. asked for support a week ago, they ain`t responding to me. spamming on a daily basis. all my maps are heavily updated locally, but not in the workshop. time and patience with steam will have to do.

@JSHAL: i am not allowed to remake maps without permission of owners. I will ask, but it is highly unlikely they will give me that control. I can, however, make a map that has pretty much the exact same gameplay, setup, etc but would have some changes, so that it is a different map. but that will have to go on the list, which is already about 15 maps long. Working on all of them right now. On top of that, i cannot seem to upload more then 3 entries into the workshop. sent request to steam, but have no response yet.

This map has a nice infantry only area in the middle. tanks can easily drive around on the flanks and a HUGE income. This map will be my "all out war, omg all that blood, nohz thousands of corpes, zomgzomg the carnage!" map

The city would take only a third to two fiths of the map, and both areas would have an equal number of points, meaning that the city would have more points for its space. Incouraging the meat grind. The outside players may send some support through the main gate to help their allies.

That is all it. Who owns the city can determin who owns the farms (becaus eof the resources and bridge flanking) and who owns the farms, may aid the city players.

The main road will contain the city bridge and both spawn points, and will be slightly away from the plazas (city bases) and will be connected by an alley way, with tank traps, debris or rubble.

Tanks can enter and leave if the city gates (facing the farm areas) are destroyed, these gates will be connected to the main city road, and will be able to accomidate tanks, allowing players to flank the bridges outside, or provide limited, close infantry support along the main road. The roads from the city gates will connect each of the ouside bridges before leading off the map.

The outside bases will be based on farm areas, and may be on a small incline. the spawn point will be nearby the bases them selves. Fences and trees would cover the spawn points from the outside.

the map could be 4v4 or 2v2, with 1 or 2 players in each corner. You would have half your team players setting up base in the city, in medium sized plaza like areas, while half of your enemies players doing the same. The other players would be setting up base at the opposite (not diaginal) corner outside of the city.

A small canal would split the city and open ground into 2 areas. Your side and the enemies side. There would be a brige both in the city and 2-3 destroyible bridges around the farm area. The cities' main road will be large enough to acommidate tanks, but the roads and alley ways that spring off will be inaccessible to tanks. The main bases inside the city will also be inaccessible to tanks, and units spawing in the city will spawn at the edges of the main road. To destroy the city bases either requires a infantry push, or artillery shelling.

Most times I play, I end making a seris of static defence stations at choke points, this means I have anti tank guns, machine guns and some howitzers creating a path way for my allies to go with out being flanked. Sometimes an allied tank either gets stuck between an AT gun, or runs over my barbed wire and sandbags. Making the choke point useless. I want a map where people can enjoy tank warfare, whilst having a infantry only meatgrind area.

The around this I think would be:

A city edge map, one side open ground with tank warfare, but filled with crators from shelling, the occasional tree or group of trees, small houses and farms. And the other side, a small (but crowed) urban city, walled off with tank traps and brick walls. Filled with small alley ways, steep inclines and crowed 2-3 story houses.

Could you please create a map that would incourage meat grinding? Such as using anti tank and artillery instead of tanks them selves.
