@Swatofficerjd Yes, SWAT can and do respond to riots, but only when they receive information for example:

Armed Rioters, etc.

Technically SWAT do respond to riots, because SWAT when not doing a raid, or warrant is dressed like the standard officer and during a riot a riot officer, but no matter what police uniform they are wearing they always have the patch which shows that they are SWAT.
