Hey Legs, thanks for the comment! I have looked into this and ran multiple tests and from what I can tell there have been no issues I have experienced in regards to the mod in terms of what your talking about. This mod purely edits defs only related to how rimworld selects rng for spawns and faction science, and it does so without qml editing so I am sorry I don't think I can be any help

This mod is completely broken for me. Turning it on disables all sound and makes every UI element unusuable.

It is the only mod I have enabled.

Hey RedCell, basically yes. any mod that uses the tag "spacer" as its tech level will be unusable to any pirate or outlander

This sounds amazing. This mod works based on tags, right? Following that logic, should modded items with a "Spacer Tag" be much more rare as well? Items such as Spartan Foundry Powered Armor and Ranged Shield Belts?

Hey, The Bard of Hearts, fortunately this doesn't even require a mod, when you begin a game before you start a world, go into the scenario options, disable incident, transport pod crash, hope this helps

Hey, Fox! really quick question. Is it at all possible for you to create a mod that simply removes the "Transport Pod Crash" event from happening? I get WAY too many transport pod crashes to the point that its simply unrealistic and frankly a bit obnoxious.

I realize you have little to no reason to do so. But, it would be greatly appreciated, haha. :viol: :d5_prinny:

the only faction mod i can think of is faction control and android tier, thats all is use faction wise

Hey Ladorate, So I have been running different builds with a variety of different mods and configs, unfortunately I have no clue why this occurs, this mod only slightly tweaks settings through .xml. The only issue I can see would be a mod that alters how the game processes pirate tech level through patches, or a mod that drastically alters faction tech or map entry methods. Sorry I cant provide a better response

I seem to have the same problem als Alpha_43, when I load my game with this mod it immediately crashes. I tried to load the game without it and it works normally. I hope there is an easy fix, because I would love to use it

well i cant know with the hundreds of mods i have, i'd rather just not waste hours to check what could be cause such a big problem, so i just wont use... Kind of a shame

Hey The Bard of Hearts, Yes, while the shield belt fits well in the core theme of rimworld, I find it is incredibly annoying when just wanting to play in a more modern but realistic setting.

Hey Alpha_43, No this mod only changes small factors within the core through non evasive means via .xml so the mod really just tweaks settings than full on changing the game. Most likely another mod is also editing these factors like say storyteller or a mod that changes the core drastically (the western & medieval vanilla storytellers would be good example)
