this mod looks like sm fun but i have literally no sound for it or anything else even vanilla files in game :< i have no other radio mods. doesn't work even with no tv on, etc. only see text. idk what the problem could be. if anyone has found a fix they can share i'd appreciate it!

I found why TV channals are disappear, bro. The maximum number of channels that can be stored on Ingame radio and TV is 10. That's why even if the mode works normally, the mode seems to be off since there are 10 vanilla TV channels.

If we can increase the maximum number of channels, the problem will be solved.

Alright, I just recently tried this mod on B42 that someone else ported, but since this is the original mod page, let me just say my two cents about this radio mod here. Whoever voiced Erin in Naturally Mortal Radio, holy moly you're really good. I was really immersed with the dialogues until day 7, and yes, I was also using the week one mod, making it a very, very immersive experience. Very emotional, especially that last dialogue on day 7. I almost cried at the end of the broadcast. Very fucking good holy shit.

The audio is fine, but the subtitles only display text's ID.

When does Azakaela stop broadcasting? It's day 26 and I'm pretty sure they were still broadcasting on day 30 in another playthrough. Is it just because I haven't been listening to that channel? Because it's the opposite issue to the previous playthrough, KYZ Country is still broadcasting now when it wasn't.

I love TVM I leave it on while I base build.

Stations used to play music sound and now they don't. I loved listening to some Johnny Cash as I drove around. Anyone know why I no longer get sound?

Hm, okay, seems like it happens if you stay in a save for too long, rebooting the game made broadcast come back.
Also to anyone wondering: mod works perfectly in single player except for lag spikes that might be bad for you. On my older PC lag spikes could last up to a second or two, on newer PC they usually last a few milliseconds and not that often to happen.

Amazing mod, been using it since I first started playing PZ and I can't really stop. Probably will be broken for good in B42, so gotta use it until I literally puke from the same songs and broadcasts.
Weirdly enough TVM stopped broadcasting for me on 49-50~ day, I don't think that ever happened. I wonder what may be the reason.

spams errors on placed and car radios at least on multiplayer, seems to be mid uninstall safe with the only remains being channel presets on existing radios

Don't install this if you run a multiplayer server, this causes a huge memory leak crashing the server. You also cannot uninstall midway either, requires a full wipe to get rid of this mod.

Imagine being called entitled because you don't want to support a FREE modification you made to a game as an unpaid labor of love, in perpetuity, until you die. Uncompensated. The ironic hypocrisy is astounding.

Still, just wanna chirp in and say: Hey! Loved the mod. It was a go-to 'Always Install' back before updates started borking it, and it was such an obvious labor of love and passion and while that may not be where your head is at these days, I'm glad you recognize that it was ABSOLUTELY art, and so much talent on behalf of yourself and the VA's went into this thing and those of us who were around when it first dropped definitely appreciated it.

These young'uns who came in late don't know how to healthily express their disappointment at not getting to see this mod when it was in its prime. But even with a few frayed edges, it honestly still holds up pretty damn well.

good memories sitting at my base about to die to something stupid knowing myself or memories me and my buddies teaching me how to play and just chilling talking about life and stuff while it played in the background or me living me living the longest that I have to hear the full Naturally Mortal Radio to it's end, even know I don't use it anymore (mainly from the fear the comments of this mod had (bloody hell people calm down.) but will always had a good place in my heart... till it get ripped out of my chest while being mauled to death.

@Blueberry Wizard -- how am I entitled exactly? Walk me through the thought process of your armchair modding etiquette expertise. Seriously. I'm curious why someone afraid to show their face hiding behind an anime girl can make such claims without knowing me personally on a public forum. In MY opinion, you are the entitled one -- asking me to support something I no longer have the desire or interest or compensation to keep running. And what kind of support if then should I add to it? I don't know if you noticed but this mod has 85,000 subs -- Everytime I update this, it breaks current playthroughs radio saves and can corrupt games! I only would update it if I found that it was A: Needed B: I had the interest to do so C: There was a proper story to tell. and D: didn't care about fucking up saves and server configurations.

Not sure why the mod author is being attacked. So many of us have loved this mod, and appreciate the incredible work that went into making it. As a community we should support those who have given time/energy etc.. to make mods such as this one.

I for one say KUDOS to the author for not only making the mod but for walking away when it was no longer serving them.

and by the sounds of it, the mod maker is a massively entitled douche anyway ( reading the comments tells me as much ) and they seem like they have perchance let a small amount of fame get to their head.

they claim they made it for themselves, but then turn around and want to get paid for a labor of love, which is it ? who knows... in any event, loved the work put into the mod.. when it worked, can't say i agree with the mod-makers statements, as a developer myself, when i say i make a labor of love i don't turn around and suddenly become angsty about money.
