RPFM has a built in global search function, find out how to open it, then you can search the DEI mod for specific keywords, pertaining to population, search for a population class you do know of from seeing it in game and it will lead you to the rest. I don't remember right now but I believe(reading my mod description)...yeah I changed the population source for the Thorax Swordsmen from Spartan citizens to Periokoi, look at my mod since it is smaller and look at the tables, you'll find what you need there.

i want to change some population classes myself in the mod, but i can't seem to find where to change the source. Where do you change it? Then i could like make a mod that is historicly accurate all the way through. Thanks!!

I don't play the game anymore, didn't know there had been updates, sry. You can grab the mod and update it yourself to your liking.Search for RPFM for Total War in a browser, download it and following the setup instructions, super easy and intuitive, modding just tables is extremely simple.

Alright updated the stats, would welcome feedback, tell me if I went overboard. I tried following the same process of calculating the increase of stats and the ratio I used long ago only this time I used that ratio among the units, created a base line for Reformed Spartans by increasing their stats to be the same stats as the strongest(I think) spearmen unit like the Carthaginian Sacred Band in both attack and defense only, and use a ratio of 1:2.

So the way that works is that I add 1 point above the CSB in attack and then 2 points in defense. Then relative to the new NEW stats of the Reformed Spartans, for the final stage (Thorax Spartans) I added 1 and 2, to attack and defense. then did the same for the Royal Spartans that have the same stats, with the difference that I added this time unlike the first time I made the mod, 1 extra point in attack compared to the Thorax Spartans, cause I thought, these guys are cherry picked from the best of the best.

Playing DEI again, will update the mod to reflect the increase stats that other units got.

I would have to install the game again to be able to upload, um, just get the RPFM for total war modding, and open up my mod with it and make your own custom version, you can unsubscribe from mine and simply keep that one(no need to upload to use a mod).

Hello,
Just wanted to ask if you'd be able to update for the latest version of DEI, Spartan thorax hoplites used to be able to take down Arjos, Late Carthaginian sacred band, and Dacian foot nobles in the previous version, but ever since the latest version came, they're now a little OP and absolutely decimate Spartan thorax hoplites. It's amazing how much just having just 1 or 2 points higher melee defence makes such a difference in combat.

hmm...right it's probably the following since I had the same issue, place your mod at the top of the load order, or at the very least above the DEI mods. Also the early spartans will be the same, as I said this only touches the Agoe trained Spartans, not the early Spartan hoplites which were just extensively trained but as adults, they weren't trained in the Agoe regiment.

Hi,
Thank you for making this mod- I completely agree with you that by the late game, an evolved Spartan state would have increased their manpower pool- I think this mod captures this perfectly. However, I am not sure that the mod is working for me (maybe its conflicting with other DEI submods)- the Royal Bodyguard base stats are 21 defence, 10 attack and 82 morale with the early Spartan hoplite being 8 attack, 19 defence and 49 morale. Have you got any tips to get this working? Keep up the good work (your two mods are great ideas for Spartan DEI campaigns)- thank you
