@Macwelshman That is pretty amazing do you have a recording? @MrMiyagi I am so thrilled with the Welsh Argentine flag you made. I lived in Esquel, Chubut, Patagonia Argentina. There is definitely a cultural imprint down there, that the people are proud of. And you don't have to be a Welsh descendant, at all. I am Welsh on my father's side. So it's not unusual in these areas to encounter red hair and blue eyes, and whereas 60% of Argentines have Italian surnames, in these areas you are much more likely to run into surnames like Brandt, Thorpe, Thomas, Wilson, etc. These towns are little more than outposts of humanity in the vast untrammeled Patagonia, but the people are genuine and friendly. In Esquel their is an old brick chapel Capilla Seion where services are held in Welsh. In nearby Trevelin there is a polygonal central plaza that proudly flies a Welsh flag. Princess Dianna visited a tea house there.

@thepatagonian as a Welshman I warmly welcome all those Welsh Patagonians. My Welsh speaking daughters celebrated the link between our countries with a performance at the youth Eisteddfod show a couple of years ago.

I love it! Thank you so much for posting this! I am hoping one day someone will make the Welsh-Patagonia flag (my avatar) to celebrate the Welsh settlers in the Patagonia Argentina.
